Stevie, I f**king dined out on that victory last night!! It was soo good!! I’m not proud of myself, but f**k I trolled some donkey supporters on insta last night!! I know I should be better than that, but… I wasn’t…I really feel like I needed that result last night. I get it’s only 2 point win but it really made me feel more positive about what is building. I like that Ryles said we are working on being a little bit better each week, including the staff at Parramatta.
He said we are very very early in our journey but our focus is on continually getting better.
If Moses is fit and firing like last night, I do believe we can probably fill the 6 from within and spend our big bucks on some elite players. It certainly sounds like we have an embarrassing amount of money to splash and Ryles seems non to fussed about rushing so maybe he is onto something.
Poupou, don’t make it about class my man. Just do your thing and indulge all. We disagree with each other, but I do believe we are all just f**kwits who love their team. We come from all walks of life. Which is what I f**king love about the tribalism of the NRL and in particular the amazing supporters of the nightly eels!!!Working class people are happy to disagree, but they don't like it when you present a rational argument with evidence. Suddenly you're a lowlife merkin who thinks your opinion is the only one that matters.
My mates and I were talking about this last night Happy. Footy Dean didn’t light the game up, but he is a great foil for Moey!Back to footy, I’d rather Hawkins be given the 6 next year if we don’t get a quality replacement between now and then. Hawkins can organise a side in attack and his kicking gives us a genuine option, which allows Moses to run the ball more. He’s no worse in defence than Joash as well.
I probably agree but some good has come from the 6 again rule. A considerable amount actually. Do the positives outweigh the negative? I'll think about that next time I meditate.6 agains can f**k right off as well.
Yeah. Or just whoever comes up with the ball keeps it (unless its an obvious strip). How about just giving the ball back to the player and having him play the ball? Unless it's an obvious strip or drop.
It worked well just like having two halves in the first state of origin worked. Ryles and his coaching crew are canny lads.My mates and I were talking about this last night Happy. Footy Dean didn’t light the game up, but he is a great foil for Moey!
I agree we are all f**kwits who love our team, and in this way rugby league is still a very working class sport. It's worth keeping in mind when we consider the discourse around the game, including on social media.Poupou, don’t make it about class my man. Just do your thing and indulge all. Yesterday??You got away with aggressively singling me out yesterday so you can't complain.
I’m a simple man Pou. I come here to get away from the shit of every day. WeI agree we are all f**kwits who love our team, and in this way rugby league is still a very working class sport. It's worth keeping in mind when we consider the discourse around the game, including on social media.
I don't remember him ever posting before then. It was very hurtful.Yesterday??
I have no idea what ur talking about - even more than usualI don't remember him ever posting before then. It was very hurtful.
It's worth noting pou that we have 3 lads from the kings school parramatta and one from newington college which are gps schools, we also have another 2 boys at kings and one at nudgee college, since the demise of rugby union the working class stigma around league has diminished somewhatI agree we are all f**kwits who love our team, and in this way rugby league is still a very working class sport. Do we actually think the class system still exists here? My two cents, the educated elite get very f**king caught up in their self importance, whilst many other Aussies just carve out a niche that works for them. f**k me im getting philosophical tonight. Might have to lay off the whisky and magic mushrooms…It's worth noting pou that we have 3 lads from the kings school parramatta and one from newington college which are gps schools, we also have another 2 boys at kings and one at nudgee college, since the demise of rugby union the working class stigma around league has diminished somewhat
Apologies, I just realised it was some merkin named Lethal.I have no idea what ur talking about - even more than usual
but just keep smearing
I'd say the amount of money in rugby league preceded both of those things. But those private school rugby league players are in most cases scholarships paid by NRL clubs trying to find ways to boost their pathways recruitment. It's worth noting pou that we have 3 lads from the kings school parramatta and one from newington college which are gps schools, we also have another 2 boys at kings and one at nudgee college, since the demise of rugby union the working class stigma around league has diminished somewhat
I'd say it has gone welfare class more so than middle class in the last decade. It's worth noting pou that we have 3 lads from the kings school parramatta and one from newington college which are gps schools, we also have another 2 boys at kings and one at nudgee college, since the demise of rugby union the working class stigma around league has diminished somewhat

The class system might not exist one day (many middle class kids have working class parents, for example) but it surely still does in 2025. It's less about how well off you are (there are plenty of cashed up bogans, myself included) and more about one's upbringing. This is why I talk about working class attitudes, as distinct from the attitudes of people from the middle (and higher) classes. There is a firm belief in the working class mind that experts and anyone who makes organisational decisions for a living KNOWS f**k ALL about anything, and that the average slob in the pub could do a better job. Nietzsche referred to this concept as ressentiment.D
