Apparent temp (Col 3) clearly shows it was 2.4 apparent at kickoff. Even if the actual temp is 9.3, apparent ("feels like") is far more relevant, especially in a venue exposed to the elements as badly as GIO.

Pretending it wasn't f**king freezing is a weird hill to die on.

Either way, it's roughly on average for a Raiders-Knights match at GIO. Given how miserable the weather was, perfectly passable figure IMO

As someone who's been participating in these thread long enough to drink legally in America (I used to run from the living room to the computer room and fire up the modem to post attendances back in the day lol), it kind of amazes me the standards people have now.

Shit's out of this world, and even a little bit of regression would not be awful as long as the trend over several years go up. Like, what happens if we get another year like 2022 in Sydney in regards to precipitation? As long as it doesn't collapse, good!

I get it that Canberra is cold. I also figure that their fans should be used to it. What choice do they have?
They are leading the comp and I was just suggesting that the attendance could have been a bit better than what it was.
Also, I'm fully aware of app temps.

Surely the NRL can start by saying Canberra cannot host a Preliminary Final this year or in the future until something is done about the stadium. Start following through with some actual threats of taking games away,
Nah they’ve earned it

Capacity wise it’s still ok

A Canberra prelim in Sydney whilst storm Brisbane or cowboys can play at home is an injustice

Go you. I’m always amused by people who seem to think they know what others should do on freezing cold days in a place like Canberra. The stadium is shite, it’s shite to get to, and it’s fecking freezing. But from your cosy chair you’ve decide more people should have attended the footy. Go you!

Canterbury / Dolphins drew 10,412 at Accor Stadium in miserable weather in Sydney, and then Canterbury / Parramatta drew almost 60,000 three weeks later.

Canberra will be fine (and yes, we all want a new rectangular stadium in the national capital).
