"The NBA is shifting its focus further towards implementing an international league compared to expansion. Working alongside FIBA, the NBA is eyeing multiple EuroLeague teams to potentially poach. NBA vs. EuroLeague for international basketball supremacy is on the horizon soon."

NBA is doing this. Eating up other main league in their sport. Gain already existing market.

"So the inclusion of French teams creates significant economic impact. How much of that is actually finding its way back into the very club that made that happen at Leigh? And that's the challenge we have to get right.

"You know, I keep getting told we shouldn't build a club on away support. I keep having that kind of thrown into discussions. And that's entirely right.

"But at the moment, there's an imbalance because you know full well that British supporters will go en masse into France, whether that's the Championship club who is going to Toulouse or the Super League club who is going to Catalan. But the reverse doesn't happen.

"So we have to find a way to work to the benefit of both the British game and the French game."

Potentially toulose with no central funds to replace Salford then Bradford and York or London

It’s actually a good result if that happens but as usual the pommies have totally botched it

Braided will being large away fans to m62 clubs ie 1k to 3k especially to the other Yorkshire clubs

It's hardly the French teams fault that they are located in desirable locations to visit, and the English are northern working class towns with very little attracition.

Surely its more incumbent on those English clubs to put on events etc. that make them more attractive to visit.

why don’t the Frenchies travel to Hull? Get a nice lunch before the game .. Fish and Chips perhaps … couple of pints of Tetley Bitter afterwards at one of the pubs in town with some friendly banter with the locals
