A Canberra prelim in Sydney whilst storm Brisbane or cowboys can play at home is an injustice

You have to wonder, even if:
- Raiders started selling games elsewhere.
- NRL blocked any prelims.
- The 3 rectangular codes agreed no internationals or rep games until a stadium is built.

Would that even be enough? Barr would probably just buy more AFL games.

Shit's out of this world, and even a little bit of regression would not be awful as long as the trend over several years go up. Like, what happens if we get another year like 2022 in Sydney in regards to precipitation? As long as it doesn't collapse, good!

Less than 100 allocated seating tickets remain on sale for Canterbury vs Warriors on Saturday week. I suspect opposition GA tickets (purple) are tracking better than all Canterbury home games except maybe Good Friday and King's Birthday too.

Wouldn't be surprised if Level 4 East goes on sale this week.

On a side note - probably a shame that there are no Sydney club games at Allianz or Accor this week to capitalise on the British and Irish invasion.

Why would you schedule your final game at your smaller stadium?

Wests Tigers v Bulldogs is showing some promising signs already. Most sideline bays are down to limited or no seats, a decent chunk of the sideline upper has also gone as well as three of the eight bays given to Bulldogs fans are now exhausted.

Weather forecast is the biggest threat to this one hitting 20K.

Dragons v Raiders is also showing some encouraging pre-sales, with very few tickets left in the Southern & Western Grandstand, whilst all lot of the Northern Concourse has been sold. Unlikely to sell out, but all 15K+ crowd could be on the card assuming it isn't too wet.

Titans v Panthers is showing more activity than I was expecting. Bays 19 - 21 are selling into the upper half (Bay 21 is selling into Row 28), the corner of 26 & 27 has been put on sale & there's signs of sales scattered elsewhere. I'd estimate 16K+, but Gold Coast has a way of surprising (in both good & bad ways).

Looking a week ahead, Storm v Broncos is selling really well, despite being on a Thursday. Pre-sales comparable to the Warriors & Rabbitohs games this far out, with sales on the western side very strong.

Wellington last hosted an NRL game back in 2023 against the Knights.

Obviously there is no 2026 crowd thread yet but, this could be the biggest crowd for the wahs next year taking the ANZAC day game to Wellington (36k).

Broncos vs Dolphins in round 24 has sold out - no single seats left. Unsold memberships won't be released until the week of.

Because of how well sold the Souths game is, and the Phins game being sold out, our last game against Melbourne has seen huge demand. It's almost tracking as well as the game this week.

The only thing that can stop a 40k+ average from here would be for us to go winless, or some kind of cataclysmic weather event. Next three crowds should be 40k+, 46k+, and 42k+.

Did an estimate for each game remaining. Inputted the most conservative figure I could feasibly see happening - with form and weather. For example for the above games - I put in 39k, 42k and 39k.
