Very questionable decisions - you can't get them all right. But in Wayne we trust. He wants Cody largely because there isn't an out and out gun 5/8 out there to replace him just yet.

I hope they use Cody to mentor Jye Gray as a 5/8 to pass on the secrets of his wizard-like passing skills onto the young lad to be his long term replacement.

I wish Reyno was still with us and like most supporters think it's the dumbest R&R move ever to not at least increase his contract to 2 years back when he was our captain. Worst R&R decision in the history of our club, possibly the game.

Last comment on Souths future - Lots of ppl bag Latrell and say we should get rid of him or move him to centre or 5/8. What I want to see at the very least next season is Latrell announce his retirement from State of Origin to fully commit to playing as many games as possible for Souths. His body just can't take the extra strain of that series mid-season anymore.

He just keeps going and his brain is as sharp as ever. No more "succession plans" please. I agree. Keep him until he retires or croaks. I still firmly believe he has at least one more premiership in him. The Souths hierarchy just need to follow his lead and not get in his way with bald R&R rubbish anymore. A change in the admin and R&R team would not be unwelcome by most supporters I'm guessing.

Bennett is crap and I can't believe people still think he is almost as great as gould thinks he is himself.
One thing and the only thing he does reasonably well is to get players trying hard. But trying hard matters diddly squat when you have no talent or structure. People say but Keppie and Arrow are wonderful and work so hard. They work so hard making bad decisions and errors.

As a previous poster mentioned this isn't even the worst part, Bennett will leave the club broker than it was when he arrived and with no decent recruitment of young promising players, just aging duds.
