I think Crichton should have been sin binned and i think he should have been charged
I get there were mitigating circumstances but it was definitely moderate force and direct to the head, and we've seen sooo many instances where mitigating circumstances dont keep you safe from a sin bin or charge
that being said the charge doesnt bother me that much, it would have only been a grade 1, which would have been a fine anyways, so that's stupidly inconsistent but kind of who cares.
the failure to bin him was a real error though. But that's the NRL for you, sometimes it falls in your favour, others... not so much
