Gameday Warriors v Dragons

Oh yeah no doubt there's an injury toll. And I'm so thrilled we are back in the 4 with our destiny now 100% in our own hands v sides 17, 13 and 10. Read that back again - we will have a top 4 finals berth if we beat three teams who are last, 13th and 10th, all 3 out of finals contention.

You reckon after Vegas that all of us would have sold our left one to be in that spot?!?!

But I feel like that second half was atrocious. All we needed to do was play smart, direct, without errors, play field position, and the Dragons would have folded.

We missed 40 tackles tonight, made 10 errors, we were so bad in discipline.
You would have sold it if they would be competitive in the finals from that position.
But all recent signs say we won't be.

We have a few marginal 1st graders and I know I may get flamed for it but - Taupiki, Pompey, CNK, CHT, Boyd are fringe first graders
Tuaupiki isn't offering much at the back and is not injecting himself in backline plays to much effect or popping up around forward through the middle for offloads.
He didnt have a smart play for last try, and involved in obstruction play try. But should offer more with his speed.

I haven’t seen much of it so far, but pretty uninspiring from both sides what I’ve seen, tight contest though

Flanagan will lose his rag post match after that last try was awarded, I saw a replay and walked out of the room thinking in the line outside shoulder would have that one taken away, was surprised to see him kicking the goal when I came back
Flanagan quite calm in mentioning it, said it was obstruction last week, but not this week. He's been playing since he was 4 and doesn't know the rules anymore.

You guys have cracked me up upon reading this thread. You had a terrible time watching this live! And the post-game was no better, worse even.

For me, coming home from work, getting my dinner ready which the wife lovingly prepared, not speaking to anyone about the game, too scared to look at the score, dilly-dallying around on other sites, going out to the balcony for some fresh air, then going for the kill, straight to the results tab.

14-10 looked absolutely beautiful.

Just watched the replay

too many mistakes but a win is a win

we will only get better from here esp. if Berry and Capewell come back next werk

Wonder if Buzz will blame Flanagan’s training for the head injuries

Congrats on the win tonight and good luck in the finals. The empathy shown towards Dragons fans tonight by your fans in the NRL section is something I won't forget.
Cheers.
You've clearly found something in the last few weeks, that team plays tough. I don't remember a team having to deal with the things yours did last night - losing 3 guys yes, but also watching those three guys prone on the ground, that was hard enough to watch on the couch.

Geez I thought we would get the spoon after Vegas. So I was still buying what we have now

You are right, we are not going to be competitive in the top 4. If we finish 4th, the Raiders will likely drill us in Canberra, 5th might be the Roosters and they are flying, could be Sharks in 6th, maybe Broncos, yeah I'm sorry to be cynical but we are nowhere near those teams right now

Every time I think I know them something like that pops up lol

Attacker in the line, on defenders outside shoulder who couldn’t move across, and attacker took the hole outside that contact, been pretty clear cut for the last 5 or so years

by the letter of the law yes but we all know how nrl love to mix things up. Niukore ran through the line, did not stop in the line. The defender was not entitled to fall over like he did, because he ran around him, not through him. He just threw his arms up and did a Harry Grant. If it had been someone like Grant Atkins, who is a known anti Warriors ref, then yep, no try.

Yeah, it's just so inconsistently applied. I could absolutely see how it was going to be ruled no try but it wasn't. Lucky for us

I didnt feel Tuaupiki took the gap created, but their centre had to pay interest to him as inside made fell over. They must of somehow judged inside man wouldn't have got to him regardless. Which is not always applied.

Niukore to front row....The 2 young fellas probably stay on the bench.
Capewell might be back.
