Disappointing loss to Melbourne.

Warriors beat the Dragons and we are out of the top 4.

Funny that a similar thing happened last year. We lost two straight to the Storm and Raiders. We fell from 2nd to 4th but clawed back 2nd by seasons end.

Raiders off a bye will charge us hard. Regardless of the result its going to be very tough going into the Dogs match the week after. Looks like our end to the year will be patchy IMO.

Not at all.

I saw into the crystal ball. We were meant to win last night. 10 straight. Then have an iffy two matches. Beat the Dragons, make the top 4 and the rest of the finals were easy.

We are doing it the hard way now.

Hearing YoYo is back in for this one..

Wish I had your confidence Mike

Raiders haven't played a top 8 team since end of May, and that was against the Roosters who were trash at that stage of the season.

They have the definition of a dream draw based on the form/depletion of other teams from injuries.

It'll be an interesting yardstick for Canberra.

They were behind 50m in against Manly and then ran over the top.
Even at 50m mark against the Drags and never kicked.
Took the lead in the 46th minute against the Knights and then flogged them.
Trailed the Eels at the 50m mark and then flogged them.
Led the Dragons by 6 at half time and then points started flowing.

It's pretty similar to how we win games against average sides traditionally without having to expend 80 mins of intensity. Grind away for 40-50m and then drop the hammer for 20 mins at some point.

We'll be there at the 50m mark and won't be gassed nor way out in front. Does Canberra sink or swim in the face of that. We'll see, no one knows.

Good summary. Bit like the way our team played under old mate Anthony Griffin. Wet sail stuff.

Its gonna be a cracker. Probably the best Friday night football match ups we have had in a long time. All of the top 4 (Or close enough to the 4) facing off.

Go 14-0 down every week and then some Moyza magic would save us.

Special times, Down 2 converted tries and then working out how to give up a penalty in front to get the magic 14. Then we could get on with actually playing. Such a fraud of a coach.

So if we win on Friday we are semis bound, if Manly beats Dolphins semis assured. If Manly beats Warriors in last could open up top 4 for us. Like most fans I barracked for my club and the team playing Manly that weekend it will be hard to cheer Cherry.
