His 'swing' is as atrocious as his golf swing. The ham fisted goon said he could get it sorted and is now realising it might be a bit more complex than he thought. Putin is having his lunch.
He’s having a go …when he doesn’t have to.

I’m not going to criticise anyone for trying to stop a war.

Pigeon-holing people into being all good or all bad, is lazy and simple.

Leaders do good and bad things.

Trump is good to try to resolve the war, he might not be good to our companies exporting to the USA.

Absolutes can be very disingenuous.

In some ways they help us get a basic description of things but not necessarily a deeper understanding or meaning.

And then things are relative to the individual, but perhaps not all things.

He f**ked himself in the arse with his own arrogance and his 'anti-war' stance on this matter involves letting Putin have his way. He has also shown a propensity to use military force in the past when you consider:

* Airstrikes in Syria
* Escalating the war in Afghanistan by sending more troops
* The assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani
* Increased drone attacks in Somalia
* Selling bombs to Saudi Arabia for use in Yemen.

I wouldn't trust him to sell my house, let alone successfully negotiate 'peace' on the world stage. His idea of 'diplomacy' is to shit bag all of his opponents, silence and discredit the media and pathologically lie about everything without the slightest hint of remorse.

You are cherry picking a bit here.

He’s trying to stop a war, that’s a pretty good thing. If he’s unconventional at times, so be it.

All leaders lie anyway don’t they?

As for the media, he wrests a bit of control over their nonsense. That’s a good thing.

Biden pardons his son, Obama was wiping out civilians, Bush claimed WMD without evidence…

Trump is a good president for those in occupational combat with illegals.

Trump is a good president for industries in the US that benefit from his policies.

That he carries on and is unlikeable is less important than his policies.

And he’s only there because others think he should be.

Not cherry picking. Just have the capacity to point out flaws in both sides of politics and call out your anti-war Kool aid talking points for what they are.

You say his policies are more important than his behaviour. What are his policies out of interest?

If you think being anti war is kool aid stuff you don’t any capacity to point out anything.

Where’s the evidence for that?
My arguments to suggest that Trump isn't anti-war are presented in #29,452. You breezed past them but feel free to present a counter point on each issue if you wish.

I don't have evidence that you've swallowed Trump juice. It was a more a figure of speech. Like say, "Benji Marshall blows goats".

No, the first thing you posted was self praising nonsense about your alleged capacity to “ point out flaws in both sides of politics.”

I think you’ve done enough damage to yourself than for me to pile on the humiliation.

The Gronk Industrial Complex has got you exactly where it wants you.

Hey little buddy. Will you be attending the March for Australia on the 31st of August?
Haven't heard about it... But it takes a lot to make me march these days.

Though I remember marching over the bridge twice around 25 years ago... once for Reconciliation (before the 2000 Olympics), and once for Peace (I think that was when we were dragged into the WMD War against Iraq).

All he has done is talk himself up, which is just another day in the US of A. He has achieved nothing.

If anyone here has ever done any business management studies, or even just read up on body language, it's blatantly obvious what's going on here. If you watch the handshake, you can see whom is the dominant and who is the submissive.

Watch Trump extend his hand, palms up, in the submissive gesture.

It is very rare to see this when world leaders meet, Putin totally dominant.

Also watch Trump's left hand here.

These are signs of affection, or someone whom is submissive but really wants affection back, or at least a sign of wanting to be friends. Notice Putin's left hand/arm, he extends nothing in the way of friendship in return.

If anyone has ever studies this type of body language, its very obvious who the dominant partner is here and who is running the show.

Trump has achieved nothing and Putin is calling all the shots and that's also obvious when you analyse what Trump has achieved, being nothing.

With respect, I appreciate your time on this submission but it seems to me it’s hocus pocus. Body language is assertions based on observations. It doesn’t prove anything.

It’s a bit like those mediums who claim to be able to talk the dead.

There’s no science, logic or predictive ability associated. It’s not recognised by any credible educational institution in the world. It’s entertainment at best.

Anyway, you’re more than entitled to attribute ambitions and beliefs to the raising of an eyebrow or scratching of a knee or what have you.

Trump derangement syndrome appears to be of the order of the day atm.

He’s trying to stop a war and save lives and people are letting their personal dislike of him detract from the significant merit of his efforts.

Do you lot want to him encourage the war?

He’s the most powerful in the world, he doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone!

Where’s the fair go these days?!

This caging of people with labels of being either good or bad is simplistic and doesn’t explain the world very well.

My view anyway which a number of the panel don’t appear to subscribe to. Doesn’t worry me too much.
