Averillo would be a terrific purchase he has pace and can play fullback winger or center. Wishart would be another for his versatility and he is also very competitive. Warbrick is big and fast winger which would give us penetration from the back. Nelson Solomona would give us a leader for our young forwards. Metcalfe to play halfback. with these buys we would be competitive.

Dragons need to go all out to sign Tino a leader up front it shows we need a huge signing to attract others . It's time for Anderson and New Ceo to open the check book or we will be heading for the wooden spoon for the next couple of years.
Tigers
Bulldogs
Are building with already massive signings and more players next season.
We have missed out on
F Blake
C Gillard
T May
K Koloumatangi this season.
Gordons/ Twiggy need to offer shares in both billion dollar empires starting with Tino to seal the deal .

Pete Badel has reported that we are after Jayden Campbell from Nov 1 thinking he can ignite our backline.

Titans have tabled him a 4.5mil over 5 year extension but he has out of extension talks to see what happens with Hasler etc.

Also says that his preference is to stay on the coast due to family ties but a big offer could potentially pry him away.
Wasting our time much like the pursuit of Douehi only chase players open to leaving

Would give him 1-2 years on the wing then transition into fullback when gutho retires. I personally don’t see him as a long term half

Was going through 2025 team stats and was quite surprised at a few of these we’re in top 5..

Atkinson is very similar to Metcalfe as he is a dangerous runner of the ball, can game manage (as shown in a few games when Trindall and Hynes were out in 2024), and has a very good short and long kicking game). He has also won games on the back of kicking field goals (something we have been crap at for a decade and a half).

Whoops ! This is a repeat of an earlier post .

Agree maestro 1 he is exactly the type of player that the Dragons have been missing for many a season now , I believe he will fit the bill nicely.

If we sign a decent centre/winger, then maybe Suli could transition to the forwards. I would actually have him in the front row, Ruben Wiki did the same thing, similar size to Suli, but perhaps played with more aggression. Still, I can see Suli doing a job for us in the front row should we not land this elusive alpha prop.

I like Sami as a "winger" though I would much rather a winger/fullback.. but if we cant land that for 2026... then sure.. but at some point between now and 2027, we need a fullback to walk thru the door.

I know very little about Simmonson but he is also proper ctr depth.. it is rly rly nice when they can offer a second position... but tbh one of our biggest problems (aside from middles and halves) is the lack of class in our wingers.. genuinely we are easily Top8 this year if we have speed and finishing on our edges..

Most sides have wingers that create something out of nothing... we have guys who create nothing out of something.
