Think about the way Bulldog Ritchie shitbagged our club and contrast it with the way he and his masthead have slathered gobfulls of slobber all over Ciraldo on the back of a mid-season premiership over last year's also rans it should give you insight into how the media are complete and utter bottom dwelling muck raking scum whose one directive in life is to sow discord, dissension, confusion and infighting in an otherwise civilised and well run community.

What will Bulldog Ritchie write about on Monday? Apologise? Retract? Admit he was wrong?

I reckon he'll double down and write an article damning Robinson for a what a cheap sanctimonious blowhard he is with constant streams of the best of the NRL's talent at his behest which he's shown very little in the way of results.

Lol, he'll do none of that and move on to shitbagging another easy target who doesn't have an arrangement.

We're now one win ahead of the mighty and much lauded Ciraldo in his first year of rebuilding the dogs.

What's Bulldog Ritchie got to say about that?

Still are 4 wins short of the great Brad Arthurs first season as Parra coach ,😁

Great win

Things fell into place ,we seemed more committed , wanting it more , even the bounce of the ball suited us

Chooks made something like 18 errors , with their playmaker Walker out early with concussion. We were always a good chance of winning well when those things fell in our laps. Think we can beat the Warriors over there next week if we have the same desire and want..

Wanted to go on the ground , but the 3 chooks friends who I came with said "We dont feel like it"

Fair call, we know that feeling all too well

EDIT: Just had a look at the stats, 22 errors for the Chooks (we had 11)

57% completion rate, we had 85%

Wow, just saw the score and read the match report - I was at an engagement where it was impossible to watch the game or check progress.

Knock me over with a feather - was not expecting use to out gun the Roosters at this stage of the season, with what's at stake for each side.

So bravo Eels 1-17, and bravo Ryles - and I look forward to now watching the replay.
We played great and well deserved the win. We were going well from the outset, but I think the result was always going to go our way once Sam Walker was out of the game after 7 minutes.

Yep, big disruption to the Roosters. And us getting some points on the board and that sense of momentum and confidence as the half went on.

And the nature of some of the tries as well - that Moses banana kick for himself!

Great win, fantastic performance.

The Roosters were definetely very much out of sorts, but you can only beat what's in front of you. I would've been pretty disappointed had we not won though once Sam Walker went off after 10 minutes.

All tries scored as a result of a kick to Lomax's wing, except for the Fox intercept (even Fox's second was from a kick to Lomax). Samrani's tries were two of the scrapiest you'll ever see, but I'll take it. Obviously a specific tactic given Tupou was out.

Marky Mark with two try assists that no one else would likely ever do. He kept them in the contest really. He's a fair player.
Don't want to be that guy but Chooks were 100% up for this and came out of the gate at us as hard and fast as we came at them.

Eels dominated a Chooks squad who brought their best game to entrench themselves in the 8 but were outplayed and dominated into making mistakes by a better team.

It was a quality game and Easts were beaten at the top of their game.

Teams at the top of their game dont make 22 errors and have 57% completion rate.

This wasn't the best performance by the Roosters, but that doesn't take away from our performance.

They may have been up for the game at the start, but they fell in a bit of a heap once Walker went off.

Again, don't wanna be that guy but do want to dispel anyone discounting our win as being on the back of an inept Chooks effort.

They gave us 100% and whatever stat of errors, completions etc that they were deficient that was entirely on account of our dominance of them, forced errors if you will, not the result of a fumbling bumbling inept effort on their account.

Too many people will try to undermine the gravity of this win especially after ragging on us after that inexcusable loss to the Bunnies so it should be reinforced that the Chooks gave us their best but were beaten by a better team, a better coached team who outclassed them in an even contest where both sides gave their best.
