The run to the finals

Yea getting some key troops back next plus the growth in the young fellas.. hopefully means we dont regress like '24.

Still feels like we'll lack a bit of class in the halves/outside backs though, to become a proper title contender.

Right now we're tough and resilient which is so so good. But we're short a Weekes or Pap or Strange or Crichton.. someone who can just bust shit open from nothing. Dunno where that'll come from though.
Yeah I worry about outside back star quality and depth, as well. I don't know if there's anything brewing in the lower grades - RTS is locking down one wing spot for another year, and CNK I am comfortable he's the guy for at least 12 more months. Dallin, not so sure but Webby is likely to back him in.

I dunno where I saw this but apparently EIT's nickname is David Goggins because he's the best, gutsiest trainer in the club. That is a hell of a good nickname to have

Yeah, saw it mentioned today in some press with Webby and also on SJ's league show.

He's gotten better each week of first grade.

What a crop of backrowers coming through: EIT, Leka, Laban, Fatialofa (another guy who's insanely fit).

And suddenly we've got some middles coming through, too: Vaimauga, TSS, Salalilo, Crosby (though not sure if he'll be here next year, with Manly rumoured to be on him), even Durbin

Will be really interesting to see how Gannon fits into that puzzle next season...

I had forgotten about Morgan Gannon. I like that he's a ball player.

I honestly feel like we're a couple of speedsters out wide from believing we could be a genuine contender.

I would sign someone like Casey McLean in a heartbeat

No way... that'd be most unfortunate if we lose him.

I know we cant keep everyone but he's one I'd love to hang on to and see how he develops.
A big body, explosive speed off the mark, great leg drive. Similar in some ways, imo, to Manly's Ethan Bullemor, so I can see why they might be interested. Anyway, I have no official knowledge, just a rumour I've heard repeated a couple places. Hopefully nothing to it

I just want to get through a game without chuckin a trantrum about some dumb play or more likely, some bullshit bunker call. Some big games this round and next. 4 or 5th is where we need to be
Cracking couple of weekends coming up that's for sure. How's the weather in Auckland looking for this evening? A nice, greasy Steeden would suit a middles battle, hopefully making it difficult for MitchyPoo to get into his kicking groove!

We can be damn sure a lot of bombs are going Lomax's way, which is Roger's wing. Big test for RTS tonight.

Watching the Eels' highlights last week, they scored some freakish tries so our D better be on

Plenty of action from Walker in the middle as well, shit this is gonna be a good game.
Gees he's a good player aye. That kick for Fox last week was special.

I used to absolutely loathe him in his early days... Curtis Scott instantly became my favourite player the day he punched him in the head. But over time he grew on me and he added so much to our team with his footspeed and ball play in the middle.

Parra got a good one there. Hopefully has a shit game tonight though.

He is a reasonably ordinary human, but always a popular player among the squad he plays in

Funnily enough be absolutely hated being shifted to the middle of the park by Des, but has been the best thing for his career

He's a good player (seems like an average human being though, for some reason he reminds me of Chris Brown) but honestly I feel like the side has moved on without him. He would be ideal for that 14 role, but TMM has offered enough there and it has allowed the likes of TSS, EIT and so on to play where they might not have otherwise.

I think him leaving was the best thing for the Warriors. Not because of his performances or his off the field, but because it meant that Webster finally ditched his small man bench.

Melbourne keeping us in front of the Roosters so far. You’d think Brisbane will get Newcastle though.

roosters aren’t really a threat. Sharks and Broncos are. We need to beat Manly next week. Both Sharks and Broncos have tough games, although Storm and Bulldogs might rest players
