Atkinson isn’t in Sharks top 17 unless there are injuries or suspensions. If was good enough, he’d be playing, they’re in a premiership window and trying to win the comp this year.
I think it just is what it is, he’s just on the fringe of their first grade team and has been used accordingly.

At this stage of the year I actually don't mind as it minimises the risk of serious injury.

I think he's arguably a better 14 option for them than Puru but with Brailey playing 80, they are playing him because Atko isn't in their future plans.

Depends on expectations I guess, I think we have hired a handy young player that seems quite versatile. Similar to signing say Kurt Mann for example.
Definitely not going to move the needle on wins vs losses like signing a star would. But if you signed 3 or 4 “handy” players then it may.
If we only sign Atkinson for 2026 then nothing will change.

Would be a good signing with De Belin leaving, but needs an early release if he wants to move to a new club next year.

Ray Stone is a good player but we need a front rower, we already have plenty of back rowers. Averilo is the player i would like from the Dolphins.
FFS Ando please get us a descent front rower and halfback and a speedy back. And another thing let Guler go to super league.
