I only check stats after I've watched game to see if I was correct.
Example are missed tackles. Plenty of guys get bumped off yet have slowed someone's run down enough to have done his job even if it's only half a job. Then there are times someone makes a poor read and doesn't get a fingertip on a player who then scores a try. No missed tackle.

Slowing players down isn’t good enough. You need to hit and stick. As for making a ‘poor read’, the only merkin who knows where the ball is going is the merkin holding it. Defenders just need to tackle the merkin in front of them. If they’re outnumbered they need to choose one and hope the playmaker f**ks up.

Indeed. But it may be a blessing in disguise for the Faiders. Ricky decided to rest the team last week. Another rest after this game going forward wouldn't be ideal. Here come the Panthers.

Id rather slow a player down 5 times and have 5 missed tackles then missing 2 tackles that end in a try. Stat says different

Just quietly…. That’s a massive choke from the Milk. Fogarty missed an absolute sitter after Young scores. Would’ve been 30-12 with 22 min left.

I thought Fogarty was poor.

Game on the line he didnt take control.

And just like the Penrith game didn't really setup well for a FG.

Yep they won that game but they butchered 2 or 3 FG attempts in normal time in that game.

26 Seconds left in Extra time they only had to work it 2 tackles to post and had a 15-20m shot in front.

The shot he missed was too shallow and as one of the commentators said they were lining it up on his wrong preferred side for a right foot kicker.

I was watching second half at work, turned off thinking Raiders had won. Was rather shocked to see the score now and they had lost. Guess they can’t escape the faders nickname.
