Raiders were supposed to play friday but whinged about turn arounds and got that game moved to Sunday. Geez that has backfired now.

Momentum with us. Reminds me of when we faced the Cowboys who had a similar game the week before vs Broncos in 2016.

yep and Storm prelim has to be Friday night to not clash with AFL grand final which means they’ll have to play off back to back 6 day breaks

The omens are starting again in me for the first time since 2016.
That's not saying we will win the comp as they were in '16 but as for in the now.
In 2016 the omens were coming to me months before, these ones started this past week.
Yesterday I had Frenz in my head to wear as much black as possible. Everyone here knows that Frenz had that passion for us to wear more the black jersey for reasons of mean and tough.
I honestly felt him with me, and don't get me onto that type of feeling. In 2016 I had my best mates feelings with me very strong. He'd died in 2015 and was a Manly fan but having him with me gave me the knowledge and strength to really believe.
Frenz gave that to me yesterday.

I feel really strong about this game. Many of us, me included, have doubted Fitz's tactics this year, but we saw it come to more fruition in the Dogs game and again last night.
It's down and dirty, drag them in.
Pretty? not at all.
Is it finals winning tactics? absolutely.

We've all known about the offload plays that teams have sort to use against us this season, and they were working.
Fitz has countered this by building a wall after the effect. Meaning that when they get their second phase plays in, regroup, get the wall back together.
The Roosters dd not have a plan against this. They couldn't even effect their most deadly play of hitting their wingers in the air.
The Raiders have been the most entertaining team to watch this season by far. I've loved watching them, and have much respect.
But it's different now.
It's get in the mud and fight.
I'm really staunchly confident that we will win.

And I can smell fear.

I agree mate. The other thing that appears to have changed a bit is the teams attitude and talk. It genuinely feels like they are excited and confident for what is to come, rather than just the lip service type thing. I know we’ve all sort of hoped/thought it in here, but they seem pissed off and like they have been waiting for this opportunity.
