Dean Ritchie has no idea where Penrith is. Penrith to Accor is 41km, Belmore to Accor is 11km.
A bit of difference!
Because we play our homes games at Parramatta he thinks we're from Parramatta. The bloke is a goose.

We should be able to knock this one out in second gear with a disciplined performance. Dogs don’t have the firepower or the pack to trouble us for 80 at this point of the season. Another game not showing our hand or investing too much emotional energy is all we need. Can’t believe I’m saying this but I’d actually start Schneider with Kenny on the bench and ideally he doesn’t play more than halfa.

In 30 years time when we're reminiscing about this unbelievable period in our footy supporting time on this earth, I guarantee we won't care if we played full strength teams in the lead up to 5 straight.

We are in this situation because we are yet to run out our full strength 17, We left 3-4 wins on the table across the year. We would have the week off now. So it all evens out

The only real question is do we have the balls to rest Kenny again?

Why would it mean we have balls if we rest our starting hooker for a knockout final?

If he is still injured, he isn’t picked. If he isn't injured, he plays. You don’t rest your best players in a knockout final, when a loss means there is nothing to be rested for.

Because we should lap the Dogs with or without Kenny but we probably can't beat Brisbane without him

Connor Tracey is the quiet achiever in the Bulldogs team.

He leads the kick return metres in the comp comfortably. Even Edwards isn't pulling his numbers. Our kick returns have been top of the competition for 5 years straight and its an area the Bulldogs have had noticeable improvement in.

We could try the bomb if the conditions are good. With a good kick chase that will stop Tracey picking up cheap metres. Other option would be kicking over to Jethro. He has handled himself well in first grade so far but he is very inexperienced.

I don't like the optics of it.

Resting Kenny (if he is fit), says to the Bulldogs 'We don't need to be at our best to beat you'. It's free motivation.

And yes, the Dogs are absolutely ravaged with injury - yet they have a guy like Kikau refusing to go get scans on a potential fractured eye socket. He's like "f**k the scan, I'm playing. Who's with me?" And that's inspiring.

Combined, that makes the Dogs dangerous. We need to treat this game with the respect it deserves. It's an elimination final, played in front of 60k+ people. Let's put our best 17 on the field, and if we are in a position to give him a spell, fine.

If we treat the game like a training run, we'll get rolled.
