I always thought The Last Castle with Robert Redford and James Gandolfini was great. Even his small turn in the MCU brought a touch of class to what is one of the better movies out of the whole series/saga. RIP.

Stephen Luscombe co founder and keyboardist of the British band Blancmage has passed away aged 70.

I'll post a top 5, by way of tribute.

1) Blind Vision
2) Feel Me
3) Living On The Ceiling
4) Waves
5) I Can't Explain

Mostly obvious choices.

Been a few cute titles over the years for those albums that music journalists like to call "sophomore efforts". Second Helping, Second Coming, etc. Blancmange took the prize with Mange Tout.

Interesting that Blancmage's version of The Day Before Came charted higher on the British charts than ABBA's. Blancmage's version got as high a 22 where ABBA peaked at 32.

The lowly chart position of Abba's version may well have influenced their decision to record a cover. Always seemed an odd move, coming so soon after the original.

The TOTP clip is shorn of introduction. Unless mentioned by the presenter, wouldn't mind betting the audience had no clue this was an Abba song.

Possibly the most beautiful women who ever lived.

Acting career over, she was a tireless worker for charity, feminism and helping people.

Spoke 4 languages fluently

She adored her fans and well wishers well into her old age. Always humble.

A heart as beautiful as she looked, all that sex symbol stuff ran a very poor second to her charisma and talent.

A Tunisian who cherished her Sicilian heritage.

Alas, our world is now a sadder and less meaningful place.

Patricia Routledge kicks the 'bouquet'.

She was so good in this that I couldn't stand to watch the show. Her character just did my head in.

I do think of her every time I'm driving and my wife says to watch out for that other car ... and it's about 30m away.

That is sad, one of the truly great comedies and i still get belly laughs watching the repeats now
