Trump was rightfully banned from social media platforms for inciting an insurrection. It was done independently of any political party (by the platform holders themselves).
He was not arrested four times. He was indicted on four occasions where he surrendered himself to authorities for processing each case. He never spent a single second in jail. He was found guilty in the hush money case (no punishment though because he’s president. Just a conviction) and managed to weasel his way out of the other 3 cases by becoming president. So much for equal justice for all. He’s lucky the democrats are so incompetent for appointing Merrick Garland who moved so slowly at prosecuting him that he was able to become president again and avoid any accountability.
Crooks (the guy who managed to get a shot at Trump) was a registered republican and the other guy who didn’t get close (Routh) has no known political affiliation. Not sure what that has to do with the left trying to assassinate him.

Where is the hypocrisy?

Yeah, if you were to generalize in the US the left's position on free speech is that there should be repercussions for certain types of speech, or that they should be illegal. Like vilification etc. Whereas the rights stated position is absolutist free speech.

So the whole thing is as it has always been free speech for me, but not for thee.

So in answer to your question, it is almost exclusively on the right right now, because their position is black and f**king white. If the right wanna accuse the left of hypocrisy here, they can't blanket do so because the position is on certain kinds of speech, it's shades of grey, so unless they can stand back and say this merkin you're whining about getting cancelled because he said some words are the exact same type of words that you wanted cancelled when we said 'em, they are pissing into the wind.

You claimed that there is a mob that banned Trump from social media, had him arrested and tried to assassinate him. I literally wrote up how the data doesn’t point in that direction and you didn’t address any of the points and just dismissed them.
