Haha...Never in doubt.
Never ever.
Good judges knew we would win by plenty, unlike the tards who man the desk and give their expert tips.
To a man last week it was the roosters to win.
The same cock heads backed up this week and it was the raiders to win.
Go again next week girls - keep writing us off.

No way the Fades were overcoming last weeks 100 minute chokathon.
Little Ethan refused to get out of bed for this and the fullback was harder to find than Harold holt.

Finals is a totally different beast.
The first 27 weeks is just the warm up.
We should know - we have been the kings of running riot during the year only to exit stage left when it mattered.

Its all about momentum come september.
...And finding a game which suits sudden death.
...And a fair amount of belief - in your game and in the bloke beside you.
...And you need a bit of luck as well.

An angel kissed us on the arse when mcplod got snipered. Pure and simple.
Sorry Cam but we have found a style that has unlocked a number of guys who have found their best form.
Its like our season has just begun. Everybody else is going who the f**k is this team. Wheres the gummies..???
We also have a captain who has not lost a game, and our halves who, according to the coach, have been learning their game for 2 years have finally got their shit sorted.
Trindall is playing halfback and Nicho is playing 6.

Joey Johns constantly tells the story that the thing that got his game going was his defence. To get into a game or when he felt he was in a slump he would concentrate on one thing - his tackles. Then it all came back in spades. His running. His kicking and his passing.
Nichos defence is astounding.
And hoohaa!...his running game has been found. f**k knows where he misplaced it,
down the back of the sofa maybe - but he's found it.
Hes a totally different player. Anybody notice there is NO slow sideways running.
Gee, he might make a marquee player after all.

The energy of our workers...
Astounding.
In the middle.
On our line.
Off the bench.
Carting it up.
Our 2nd stinters.
No team has matched our last 20 minutes in the last 3 weeks.
All top 8ers.
All blown away in the final quarter.
Our fitness and willingness to do the hard stuff for 80.... this is what semi final footy is about.
Previous years when we have folded in September, its been because we didnt know what it took.
Now we do.
And the boys are enjoying it. Loving it.
Not just the winning but style theyve discovered. They are enjoying belting the other side.

Just hope the experts keep writing us off.

Honourable mentions:
The Ramien drop. The most disappointing aspect of that was the halves. Can't remember who fed the scrum or who called the play but the Fades have no right side defence.
Everybody knows that and we wouldve spoken about it all week. That scrum was the perfect opportunity to target it from a set play. We wouldve scored...but for whatever reason we went to the right to a centre who had just bombed a last play 2 seconds before.
That drop leads to a try down the other end.
The halves got away with it but against storm and pennies we cannot be that dumb.
Stick. To. The. Plan.

Starling. Whether accidental or not, how can a guy lead with his head, knock a guy out and...
1. Get the ball for his team
2. Not get sent for an assessment by the 'independent'..coff coff.. Canberra doctor for the head clash???

Finally.
Anybody else find themsleves pondering about our comrade Frenz during all this?
What a frustrating year we have all endured.
The lame performances. The coaching blunders. The selections and lost opportunities.
And now to experience this ride...
Farkin loving it.
No way 5 weeks ago could we imagine we could be up to our eyeballs in this comp. We were in danger of missing the 8.
And now the final 4

Im doing it.
Im counting the chickens...we win in Melbourne.
Absolutely certain of it.

We dance underneath the radar...

An angel kissed us on the arse when mcplod got snipered. Pure and simple.

Said as much when it happened.
I felt bad for being happy a player was injured.
Not happy to see him injured, but happy it would necessitate a change we all knew was needed.

Look at us now.

The Ramien drop....
That drop leads to a try down the other end.

It was aided and abetted by WK spilling the bomb on the end of the next set.
"Here we go" I thought to myself at the time.
"A big game and the usual suspects are coming up with schoolboy errors".
Katoa, Ramien and Will all in quick succession.

Thankfully there's a steely resolve about the team now and they didn't let it faze them.

Starling. Whether accidental or not, how can a guy lead with his head, knock a guy out and...
1. Get the ball for his team
2. Not get sent for an assessment by the 'independent'..coff coff.. Canberra doctor for the head clash???

That decision beggars belief.
The narrative since Finucane has always been "the defender has a duty of care".
Well accidental or not, rushing up to put a hit on and clashing heads surely breaches that duty of care.

Anybody else find themsleves pondering about our comrade Frenz during all this?

Constantly.
And wondering if @bad boy bubby is still wearing black.

And dont wear the number 3.

Just on that, dogs finished third and they're out in straight sets today it would seem.

Has a team every finished third and gone on to win the GF?
Frenz wouldve been all over that.
3rd and won the GF? Unless you're being facetious, think back 9 years

Still not a lot of credit to Cronulla from the idiots on the Sunday footy show.. it’s all about Canberra.. John’s thinks Kennedy should have been sinbinned for the hit on Kris.. and Fittler thinks the turning point was the penalty to katoa for a high tackle which wasn’t high lol

That's ok, both dimwits. Be more concerned if they were backing us.
