Mine are the same, didn't want to go to GF last year because they didn't feel like it. The reply was 'we always win it, I will go next year'
My 50 yo and I still talk about every win like it’s a special event. Back in the day all we would hope for is Penrith to win their last match of the season. Nowadays they win it but they also make the semis.

Black and gold jerseys for us today so thought I'd try a champagne instead.

Ninth Island for Tasmania. 2 for $60 at Dan's.

Mitch plays surely

feeling good, just get into the game early, dominate and keep building pressure

we should be winning this game, so it’s on us if we lose, no excuses today.

just keep our discipline (I expect Canterbury to get grubby) and get the job done.

Brisbane will be praying for a miracle - if they play the dogs next week it will be a slaughter up there

Ok well Iwhoever is in charge of food and drinks will need to whip me up a chai latte with almond milk . Follow it with a negroni and some smashed avocado on toast. If thats to much effort some poached eggs will be fine. Make sure their organic and free range.
Are you sure your a eels supporter and not not a tree hugging rooster a chai latte is served on Oxford street
Always think of my old man in context.

I'm as passionate as I am about this team because he took the time to take my brother and I to every game in Penrith when we were growing up.

He saw 2020 but passed away at the beginning of 2021 so never got to see any of these wins.
i hear you brother my father took me to the very first game penrith played and we went to every home from then sitting on the hill where the now the eastern grandstand was and will rise again. He was president of the local Mount druitt ghosts footy club
.So I got to go in the sheds after games. We both watched 1991 grand final win .As was said as the trophy was lifted.Today we are somebody .What a day what a memory .Sadly he has passed before the current run
But I like to believe that him and Merv Cartwright are sitting up there watching down with huge grins

Yeah it's unreal.

What a time to be alive. I feel very sorry for all the fans who missed out on this last decade. They'd barely believe it was even possible.
I wouldn't have believed you if you'd told me 12 years ago. And its not done yet.

Now that name takes me back, I played for the Mt Druitt Millers team sponsored by the pub just around the corner from Ropes Creek Oval

@hindy111 is a fully licenced card carrying bandwagoner.

And i shouldn’t have to tell you there’s a lot of risk at our home forums supporting you guys.

We have the courage of our convictions against many haters and those jealous of your enduring success.

Getting excited now. Closing in on kick off.

Just a bit more special against a Sydney rival. And a game on the mainland.
