Overall mate. I’m genuinely interested. At centre. In attack or defence? And at which position?

It’s not that simple but. Is Alamoti worth actively shitcanning Penisini for?
I concur and if Lomax did go the Saudi union sportswash money, Alamoti should be a legitimate targetBefore @Poupou Escobar even begins I reckon Alamoti is just a cheaper version of Lomax. A better winger than centre with defensive deficiencies in his preferred (centre) position.
I also think Penisini would be very much like Alamoti on the wing. He’s strong and powerful just has shit hands. Believe it or not I rate Russell as the purest centre of the lot and defensively the best of the lot.
He debuted against us last round. He is rubbish.
Ok lets write him off after one game then.He debuted against us last round. He is rubbish.
I don't think it's that simple, for a couple of reasons. Which is not to say that some players aren't just markedly better than others. So, it's easy for me to say Farnworth is better than Staggs, who is better than Penisini, who is better than Laybutt.Overall mate. I’m genuinely interested. At centre.
All I see is excuses and lack of accountability.
Blame the media

I saw some clips of Ciraldo's presser on 360 last night
What an absolute clown he sounded like.
Whinging about the attention the club copped.
No one else copped that but clearly ignored the fact they brought it on themselves and the GM labelled the 19 year old kid the greatest teenager he ever seen in a media role.
He praised Hayward and Galvin the two blokes he brought in to justify the calls.
Yet I dont reckon Hayward is a dummy half. And judging off the results it deteriorated after they flicked Mahoney.

But for the four you've listed (Alamoti, Penisini, Russell, Simonsson), I don't think the differences between them are granular enough to give a clear ranking 1 to 4. There's also the fact that the player needs to meet the team requirements. A team that needs to improve its defence would prefer a better defensive centre, while a team that needs more strike would prefer a better attacker. It also depends on what the rest of the backline looks like. A team that needs more go forward out of its back five would prefer a powerful, hard working centre, while a slow team would prefer a speedster. Finally it comes down to cost. A team struggling to fit an already great squad under the cap will likely prefer the cheapest centre that is good enough for the team. A team with plenty of cap space might be happy to get the best merkin available, even if they have to pay overs.
So to rate the four you've asked about, I would judge them across these categories. But Simonsson is difficult to judge because he has only played 24 games across two years, including reserve grade. Penisini is down on form compared to previous years. It's unlikely he is too old, being only 23, so 2025 should be considered an outlier.

I reckon Ciraldo is feeling how Ivan felt sometime around 2015Yeah, glad we have Jason. He looks an honest man. Ciraldo looks shifty
Ciraldo for a coach in his third year made a blunder, a huge one that derailed their season. The whole team lost cohesion and belief on the back of Sexton and Mahoney being dropped.Yeah, glad we have Jason. He looks an honest man. Ciraldo looks shifty
I think Gould being the naccicist he is has his hands all over the dogs debacle , problem for ciraldo is he is a rookie coach and does as he is told , ryles I don't believe would put up with Gus for longCiraldo for a coach in his third year made a blunder, a huge one that derailed their season. And Gould is accountable too. It wasn’t solely Ciraldo’s fault.
He’s starting to look tired.I reckon Ciraldo is feeling how Ivan felt sometime around 2015
