Ciraldo for a coach in his third year made a blunder, a huge one that derailed their season. The whole team lost cohesion and belief on the back of Sexton and Mahoney being dropped.

And Gould is accountable too. It wasn’t solely Ciraldo’s fault.

Galvin should of stayed on bench and only used if an injury. Then unleashed in 2026.
In a way this is good. Dogs over achieving means a lot of guys will get upgrades. Some may not be deserved. By 2027 their window maybe shut. Guys like KING,PRESTON,XERRI will cost a lot more.

I see everyone that supports or works at the Dogs is now using the easy draw as a reason why they were going so good....

They had Sexton and Mahoney playing those games developing the combination then when the draw got harder they decided to change it all.... It's just stupidity yes long term Galvin is your 6 but the dogs had a real chance this season yo win the competition.

Agree
Didn’t see the likes of James graham talk about easy draw at the time .

In my opinion he has become the worst of the bulldogs media mouth pieces worse than weidler

I said a couple weeks ago the amount of verbal diarrhea this year from the media calling Ciraldo a supercoach already was just utter ridiculous.

He may get there one day but i don't think he has enhanced his reputation over the back half of the year.

Its also clear whenever asked about these changes he has made he is very abrupt and owning every decision for optics as Gus doesn't want to be seen as meddling into the affairs.

Just like it was when Trent Barrett was sacked was the Board's call not Gus.

I expect another Danny Weidler puff piece this Sunday on Gus & Ciraldo and the smear campaign that derailed the Dogs season but the reality is they did it to themselves.

Gee wouldn't be it funny if we win a final or 2 next year and they go backwards just slightly.

We will finish above them and they won’t make the 8 if they don’t make signings

No hooker
Tracey not as good as last 18 months
If they persist with Galvin at halfback they will come back right to the field now agaisnt mid to lower table sides and if they go woods (the rookie) and Galvin as halves I see woods taking backseat as Galvin likes being on the ball too much so won’t work

But this is Gus master at moving on players so expect them to have off season signings

we're not going to get an outside back in the quality of Alamoti this late in the year, we may however get a decent up and coming player or a seasoned veteren looking for an opportunity.

That's all we really need, imo.

If we can keep Moses fit, we can go deep into the Finals...IF we can keep him fit...

I think a lot of the reasons why Penisini keeps getting in First Grade is due o his leadership potential.

He makes dumb mistakes every game, and it is frustrating.

But even Jason Ryles made some comments about Will's leadership qualities.

I'd like to see him work on his catching, though.

I think Gould being the naccicist he is has his hands all over the dogs debacle , problem for ciraldo is he is a rookie coach and does as he is told , ryles I don't believe would put up with Gus for long
I reckon Jason wouldn't applied to be at Parra if Gould was the boss. Didn't they say, he was gonna implement his plan wo any interference from above? If Gould was here and said no, I have a say, Jason would've said, ok, I'll wait for Bellamy to retire

i know @Suitman has been a big James Graham fan over the years.

But his behaviour while calling a game on MMM was deadset disgraceful on Sunday.

You cant have a bias like that on a neutral call and rights holder broadcast.

It was pathetic.

And i agree his opinion/analysis on the Bulldogs in the past 12 months or so since becoming as a club ambassador has taken the shine off what i thought was a decent analyst.

12-18 months ago i thought he was one of the best in the game.

All full of agendas and bias now & Buzz called him out on it on Sunday during the show.

Graham denied it was the case he was actually shocked the question was asked.

I would have had more respect if he admitted that was the case tbh then pissing around the question the way he did.

Ok lets write him off after one game then.
I have. Typical of many union converts. Scared of impact. Doesnt chase collisions thats for sure.

you say you cant write him off after one game. After watching that one game, Im pretty sure there is a very solid reason that they waited the entire year before giving him a run. Wouldnt be surprised if it was in his Contract he'd get a game.

really, i think williams, kelma and Kautoga are a nice group

5/8 for me is our biggest weakness
Williams and Kautoga have both been playing left side, and while we could do worse than Kelman, we could also do a heck of a lot better. Imagine Nikora or Preston running off Moses.

Temu Lane? Williams running game is better..

Nikora is benched as he is behind Burns atm who seems to also have a good running game.

Would any of those 3 names be even mentioned for origin even if there was 3 or 4 injuries at edge? I think not. I would score them between 5-6/10 level players.
We need an 8+
I think people have recency bias. We finished the season well so now average players like Tuilagi and Russell are now underrated. If we start losing people will start calling for their heads again.

Russell is bog average.Offers little in attack. Atleast Peninsi can bust a tackle. We finished our season very well but plenty of sides do similar when they get to play with no pressure. I still think we need 2 or 3 quality additions for 2026. We arent then only side with juniors, injuries or looking to improve.
