Yeah, glad we have Jason. He looks an honest man. Ciraldo looks shifty
That’d be why he fits in at the Bulldogs! He seems like he had a charm bypass. Fortunately that’s not a necessity to be a good coach.
Be interesting to see how both he and Ryles handle next year. Apart from one negative article, JR had an easy run with it this year in the media.

Ciraldo for a coach in his third year made a blunder, a huge one that derailed their season. The whole team lost cohesion and belief on the back of Sexton and Mahoney being dropped.

And Gould is accountable too. It wasn’t solely Ciraldo’s fault.
By Gould’s logic they were headed for a fall anyway. Ironically it was self fulfilling.

Russell is bog average.Offers little in attack. Atleast Peninsi can bust a tackle. We finished our season very well but plenty of sides do similar when they get to play with no pressure. I still think we need 2 or 3 quality additions for 2026. We arent then only side with juniors, injuries or looking to improve.
At least Russell is improving. The Penis is not. Hopefully 2026 is a big year for him.

We didnt lose a game after Bullflog Ritchie bagged Ryles.

3 wins from 3 and made him look like a goose.

Would any of those 3 names be even mentioned for origin even if there was 3 or 4 injuries at edge? I think not. I would score them between 5-6/10 level players.
We need an 8+

2 of them don't even qualify for Origin.

Plus parramatta hasn't been a breeding ground for Origin talent in my time supporting the club.

I liked what Williams and Kelma were producing towards the end of the season. We won a fair few games against good opponents with these two. I can see kautoga coming off the bench in an impact role.

Could our back row get better, ofcourse but I'd be hoping that Latu, JFI or Pretus can break through as opposed to going to market.

Agree on Russell and I didn’t think Penisini improved either but JR specifically mentioned in the end of year video that he was a player that improved.
I’d like to know how, in all seriousness.

Tracey id rank as the worse fullback in comp. Who is he better then?
Iongi & Gray have better upside but this season he was better than them. Next season will depend on if they surpass him or not because it’s unlikely he’ll regress that much.

He’s also at least comparable to Gutho, CNK and Bula. Just based on injury history there’s also an argument for Turbo.

Kini, Brimson, Campbell are maybe better but who the f**k knows which position they playing.

Kennedy, Bongwater and maybe Weekes (see how he backs up next year) are probably the next rung definitely ahead of him.

The rest are obvious except the Dolphins. He’s better than Fuller but Hamiso… if he has the ball he’s near the top. Without the ball, he’s lucky to be in NRL

Except they play opposite sides of ruck

So he’s more likely to be available?

Not sure that Williams moving from the left to right would be an issue seems like a versatile player..

Maybe if he doesn't want to stay on the bench and the Sharks want to make some room in their cap.

I’m happy to persist with Williams, Kautoga and even Kelman but there are players that would be big improvements on them as well

Geez man, not trying to pick a fight here, but first you said Tracey wasn't first grade standard and now Preston is temu Lane? How much do you hate the Dogs?

Well Tracey isn't first grade standard no other club would be playing him at fullback.
Then their is Temu Lane nothing screams rep player made easy busts against Penrith worst defenders on the weekend and that's about it probably could call him Hindy Jnr with his flops as well...

Don't hate the dogs just don't like Gus

Gray was amazing played a lot better than Tracey Bula is probably the only one that didn't play as well as Tracey this year though it's close and one played for a side in the top 4.

Bottom 2 Tracey and Bula.

Who is to say that Kautoga won't improve dramatically in 2026 with a full off-season under his belt?

He was definitely progressing nicely, before his injury.

Even Tuilagi improved his defence.

We finished 6 points outside the 8, and were missing Moses for half our season - I don't think we are too far off from being a serious top 8 contender.

If they where eligible......
3 average guys in my eyes and none are that young bar Kutogo. Williams may of just had his career year like Lane in 2022. Let's see if his forms permanent. He turns 29 in a few days.
Kelmas defense is trash. Attacks fine.

We need a strike edge and a better centre more then a 5/8 I think.
