Hughes is an average defender, makes about 18 tackles max a game , good for missing 4-5

He should be made to do at least 30 tackles tomorrow night, id go for more.

We are right in this up to our eyeballs.

I believe we can beat Melbourne, I damn want to play the Panthers in the GF and we can end the streak.
The Sharks are the Brock Lesnar to the Panthers The Undertaker

I think Hughes will spend most of the night well hidden in defence ala Cronk in that Rorters GF win

Good luck hiding from AFB and Toby and the back rowers. He’ll have extra minders if he plays and that’s where the little late inside balls can work in our favour. I actually doubt he plays tbh.

I just reckon they're ready and have been showing us how to play semi finals footy over the last 3 weeks. Only injuries can stop us now. If Melbourne want to risk playing Hughes it shows they are seriously worried about us.
Yeah reckon the same Tom… I doubt he plays with such documented injuries but if he does he will get targeted all night or for as long as he lasts. A fit Pezet is a bigger threat imo. Not saying we win the comp by any means but I reckon we get to the big dance. Guess we’ll know more tonight when Bellyache trims his squad to 19.

I thought we looked a little nervous at the start of the Raiders game.

Nerves create errors.

We must come out to play against the Storm.
Just need to contain them, get them into the grind as you did the raiders.

Once you broke them, the cruelty set in with a derangement you should be quite proud of.

I don’t think you will match their first half, you will slip behind and then it becomes to what extent …and whether or not it’s manageable.

So I’m thinking if they aren’t 12 plus in front at half time, Bellamy might need a couple of extra chairs to assault in order to get his point across.

Danger lurketh unless you are completely gutted and knocked out of it by half time.

12 points or less is slurping milkshake territory. Nothing to seriously worry about.

Everyone is talking them up this week, what a surprise! Nervous energy might be a factor, tbh I thought there was a fair bit early on with our lads against Canberra but we do have that seige mentality, since the Bulldogs game. Melbourne played the perfect game against us last time, we were coming out of a slump. I thought we competed well then, this time is different though. We have the ascendency.

No way Melbourne are fully fit but will defend well in the first 20. I think we ride over them late in the game, we just know how to win now.

Can't remember who it was but saw some talking head a few days ago detailing AFBs post contact metres.

Way best in the league.

On the tip sheet other coaches say get 3 in the tackle when he gets the ball.

This guy said why dont sharks get him wide one on one in the red zone.
A half or centre are zero chance.
Try.
Every time.

Joel Caine was saying the same thing last night.

We load him up 10 metres out to crash through their boppers under the posts.

What he would do running at Hughes when storm are planted on the line. Hughes with a broken hand.
And then again.
And again.

I'd actually use Toby for the task on Hughes.
AFB already attracts a lot of attention.
Or Burns or Wilton, whichever side Hughes is on.
Let Addin be Addin.

So the majority of the eggspurts are tipping the Strom.
The betting agencies have the Strom at $1.37 and us at $3.10
The seigh mentality is real. Even though the same eggspurts are now saying it's not.

f**k em all.

They were talking about AFB leading the post contact metres in the league by about 300metres to the 2nd best player in the NRL on SEN this week.
