The opposed session will be good for the French, but honestly there should have at least been a match against the Emus..

A lot of credit must go to the Jamacian Rugby League where the game is progressing and hopefully this will make more young people there take up our game, but i think France will win this, but come the world cup after this one it could be a different story.

Some real dross in that France side. A real indicator that the pathways there have fallen off a cliff.

Have you watched any of these guys play or?

Morgue is a top 3 Full Back in Super League.

Aispuro Bichet can be absolute class on his best day.

Garcia, Romano, Bousquet & Belmas would get a start for most Super League teams

Sangare was a monster for Salford this year.

Da Costa has had a decent season

France is the only country outside of the big 3 that actually produces and develops rugby league players plus they have bugger all resources and no money to splash.

Unlike every other Rugby League nation who relies on NRL systems and granddads passport to field a team, they are doing gods work to keep the proper international game alive.

With Toulouse in Super League next season there will be a minimum of 20-25 french players getting a run in first grade every week.

Are there 25 PNG developed (Not NRL developed PNG qualified) running about? No

Are there a combined 25 players from your Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Cook Islands, Vanuatu, Timbuktoo playing NRL? no and there will not be within our lifetime.

The current French team would put 40 points on the Elite dominated squads of 2008 - 2018. They are batting way above their weight at this point.

I have. They’re mostly dross.

Mourgue is their best player, GAB is terrible at the moment and should be nowhere near regular game time in Super League, Sangare has been at a bigger club in Leeds and failed and Da Costa has played in a crap Catalans side.

Let’s not talk up this French side as something it isn’t.

Completely disagree. They have always had a class player like a Bosc or Gigot type since Catalans have been in Super League but no squad depth until recently.

Hahah there is absolutely no squad depth there of any quality.

The days of Casty, Garcia, Bousquet, Baiteiri, Elima and Mounis (some of whom are now at the end of their careers) being replaced by the likes of Seguier, Le Cam, Cozza and Belmas is like going from a car to a bicycle with one wheel.
