This might be my favourite bit of salt. Penrith’s last 5 years has been built on the back of tinny tries. Passes hitting the ground or a kick deflecting off legs etc.

Good to get a taste of your own medicine for once.

They scored two tries, to the same player, on the same edge, after the same sweeping play.

Not like they were making their claim for try of the year contender themselves.

Can't believe we have a few fans saying they won't watch the GF. My 4 and 7 year olds took the loss with more grace

Yeah, it’s perplexing. You’d almost think that to them, the last 5 years wasn’t f*cken good enough. Sheesh!

Coming from stone, motherless last in Round 12 and only making 7th come the end of the regular season, I virtually had no expectations, in fact any further progression from there was an absolute bonus!

Sure, the disappointment of yesterday evening is there, but I reckon it’s less heart-breaking to bow out in a preliminary than it would’ve been in the GF.

I’ll be watching the GF for sure, and as opposed to the last five years, I’ll be able to sit back, stress-free, with a few cold bevies and just enjoy the game for a change without anything riding on it.

FHS Ivan -

Maybe if he had someone other than Schneider on the bench it wouldn't have had as great an impact. Everybody knows that this could happen and what the rules are.

There's a reason for the rules, it's to stop coaches like this who don't give a shit about head injuries and would happily just send the players back out there.

He wouldn't be the first player to pass a HIA and suffer delayed concussion symptoms, which is why the rule is in place.

Yeah, even as a Penrith supporter, I don’t understand Ivan’s take on this.

I mean, would he rather Sorro go back on the field and risk exacerbating the injury sustained in the initial clash?

In any case it’s his own stupid fault for putting halves like Schneider on the Bench instead of someone who can replace Sorro like Eisenhuth.

For a bloke whos team has just made the decider that's pretty damn snarky.
