We need another hooker. At this stage its only Kenny and the untested Scott in our top 30 next year.

9 is a priority.

Unlikely a big name but we need to find some depth there.

Another thing is we didn't have a home game all year.. commbank isnt a home game lets face it..

Having a stable squad next year is a huge boost.

Casey and blaize will add a bit of size over the offseason. Patea needs to be told if he wants a fg 17 spot next year to start preseason a month early and get to work in the gym and his cardio.

Tago too needs a big offseason.. takes him to long during the regular season to get up to his finals performances. He needs to hit the ground running from week 1.

The 14 issue is definitely something we need to fix. If we are going to keep cole than he needs to spend the whole offseason addidng 4 or 5 kgs of bulk and be prepared to play lock, 6 and 9 and practice his dummy half running game and service.

Then a few of the fleg boys need to spend the whole offseason with the nrl team.. edgar, wigmore and 2 or 3 of the other more promising ones.

I cant see us changing up our style to much.. i think what we do works we just need a bit of fine tuning and ive needs to realise we cant play with 16 each week... its just stupidity.

The loss this year will have the boys hungry as ever and nathan is coming into the best years for a half..

If we have any coin at all i think we need another fringe second rower..maybe a gun junior who is 20 odd and ready for a crack to pressure the main guys..

Mostly our origin guys need a big rest and get their bodies right. Our fitness this year never really looked like it was up to the standards of previous years..just the way the seasom panned out with a short preseason and our poor performances we really made it hard for ourselves.. it will be hard again next year with no home games but if we can get our fitness up to 2021/22 levels and keep our best players on the park we will be right up there again.

With the clubs that are circling Burton it isn't worth him going to. Better off to find some cap and bring him home. I know it isn't going to happen, but he adds something we lack.

Bulldogs in rd26 when we fielded a nsw cup team and then knights middle of the year when we were terrible and missing a lot of other players..

He simply must be in the 17 every week next year..

I think edgar is the plan in 2028. Edwards only turns 30 next year and is still one of the top fbs in the game. He will be 31 by the end of 2027 and probably wont be extended id think as edgar will be ready..

Yes but I don't like throwing in a kid without the experience in such a key position.. I reckon the Cogger signing would be a waste.

Hes a bit smaller so will need to slowly build hes body up against the rigours of playing against the big boys.

I think we are right with props. Moses has another few years left in him (with fewer minutes) and Smith, Henry and Patea are developing nicely. Ice in the middle has been incredible second half of the season.

I think we are short on backrowers. And 14 is a problem.

How good is Edgar?
Penrith have lost Iongi and Iison two promising kids. Do you rate him alongside those?

Teddy has "pulled out" of the UK tour. Fullbacks will be Walsh and Dyl......so no offseason once again

Jury still out on Edgar and Attard, they both had interrupted seasons both have a lot of talent tho. Next season will be telling for their chances of being Edwards replacement.

Im not seeing to many issues for next season, we were good enough to win it with the 17 we had imo. There are some questions to be answered about who will be the next in line for a number of positions but as far the top 17 the biggest question is who takes brads spot or does Luron crack the top 17.

ITs definitely the most disrupted our cup side has been for 5 years, that will be interesting to see. Most of the regular forward pack is being let go Dias, Rikki, Hassett, Geyer, Price, Lipowicz and Sommerton. Possibly Huth? That is more than just a starting forward pack, thats almost the whole rotation.
