Reckon the Broncos will win and win well. They beat them pretty comfortably a few weeks back and there’s just a feeling of destiny about them and the way they’ve won their 2 semis. With Carrigan back and I’m assuming Mam to 6 and and Hunt to dummy half I can see them starting strongly and building a decent lead.

A 2023-esqe bedshit isn’t out of the question though and would be undeniably hilarious too.

It's somewhat amusing that whether on here or on other forums people had enough of Penrith and wanted something different, so you get Broncos v Storm. Haha.

Enjoy your shit sandwich served with warm non-alcoholic beer.
That's an especially kind description of this one

Ahhhhh yes, Klein Kampf in the Bunker where he can't manage the game the way he likes but can arguably have a bigger impact via individual decisions.

Well done NRL
You might as well just give the keys to the match....the sooner they get rid of the bunker the better, do it like the FIFA refs do it let them on field refs make the decision.

Back in 2006 I cheered for the Storm and when they lost I felt quite sad at the time as Storm had been minor premiers and because I hate the Donkeys. I didn't know that they were cheating the cap yet obviously.

Now for the first time in 37 years, I won't be watching the GF. Neither club has a single redeeming feature, including the trash cities they represent. I can't believe bloody Brisbane were given the Olympics for 2032 either. It will be far inferior to Sydney 2000, the best games ever.

Just a suggestion, but you COULD just be happy with what our boys have accomplished over the last 5 years (5 consecutive Grand final appearances, 4 of those resulting in consecutive premierships) and being proud of them in the knowledge that no other NRL club has achieved this in the salary cap-era and no other club probably ever will.

You also COULD just sit back with a few bevies, stress-free knowing you have no dog in the hunt and enjoy the athleticism of an otherwise great Grand Final, not necessarily caring who wins, like I will be.

Just a suggestion… How you spend your Sunday arvo and evening is completely up to you.

Its all on Reecey, he can win a match singlehandedly , and is on a hot streak.

Can it last? Or will he flame out spectacularly?

My thoughts as well. If we keep Walsh quiet we've won the game - but that's a far easier thing to say than do when he's on form.

Lol you assume I come from Penrith. Parra would be my ‘local team’ I suppose but I went for Panthers in ‘88 as a kindergartener because my favourite players were Peter Kelly and Greg Alexander and so I became a Panthers fan.
I didn't assume anything, and where you come from isn't all that relevant I'm afraid. You were comparing cities, and Penrith is easily the worst of them.

Bold of Madge to name two forwards on the bench in a GF

Would have thought Hunt at 9 and Vehicular Mam-slaughter at 6 was the go.

About the quality of the last meal I had at your Leagues club come to think of it.

And when’s the last time you were at Panthers? The 1980’s?

I must admit, I haven’t lived in the Penrith area for a good 15 years and probably haven’t had a feed at Panthers for close to 9 years, but surely you jest?

After all, unless you’re looking for food quality there from a Chef the calibre of Heston Blumenthal or Rick Stein, your tastebuds must be in your f*cken arsehole.

I’m surprised by that but plenty of time for funny business between now and Sunday.
