I can't see R360 becoming the big money spinner they think it will be.

Two props playing in the GF Sunday without contracts for next Season .......
The Storms Kamikamica and Burleigh Bears Fletcher Baker
Storm are only offering "Kami" around 240 k for next season ..a drop of 160k from this year , while Baker , man of the match in the Brissy grand final last week is also on the lookout
Both are better than we currently have and are worth solid consideration

100% mate, has been this way all season for Ilias.. just nobody watches cup and the side was winning off the back of their forward pack and Glover/Ramsey.. and with Braith carrying on.. the narrative was just assumed that Ilias must be braining it.

Ilias is basically just rolling the roulette wheel for every decision, I dont think its his footy IQ.. I think hes just too slow now to get into position and/or be a running threat.. and so his decisions usually ends in a poor/fumbled pass or an ordinary kick... all except for one 10 minute period against Penrith (Round 25) where the decisions all lined up trumps and he won the game with 2 tries and a fieldgoal.. that was his big moment.. but that was his only moment.

An argument for Glover playing first grade 7 though sure.. but I do get that a completely rookie 7 whos leaving anyway.. its unlikely that hes going to win us first grade games, esp as his defence isnt great... but 2026 is another story... no excuses, we have time to sort out the roster.

He needs to reinvent himself as a 9 me thinks

Ang Postecoglou is a brilliant football manager who promotes possession based attacking football. His system does take a bit of time for the players to buy in. So I expect Forest to turn it around in the coming weeks.

However if the players don't buy in - one of two thing incredibly ironic occurences may transpire -

1. Forest get relegated this year. Next year, Ange guides Forest to win the EFC Championship thus maintaining Ang's incredible record of winning silverware in his 2nd year at each club he has coached.

2. Ang is sacked on 22 October 2025 thus emulating the 44 day tenure at Leeds United of the coach Brian Clough which was made into a fantastic film called 'The Damned United'. Clough who went on to coach Forest to 2 European Cup wins and was generally acknowledged as one of the best English coach's of his time. Should Ang's sacking transpire it will be known as 'The Damned Forest'.

Having watched Tanah Boyds' kicking masterclass against last Sunday in the KOE GF, he has gone up in my estimation. The Warriors have three pretty good half backs in Luke Metcalf, Boyd and Jett Cleary on various types of deals- while Metcalf is numero uno in my book, either of the other two would be better than anything we've currently got and may start agitating for a shot at NRL elsewhere.

The Warriors also have Te Maire Martin who I think is a great player. Very under rated. I would go for him to partner Atkinson. Surely he would come cheaply. He is better than Kyle and has experience in the halves.

With Illias, I really do hope he goes to another NRL club and not England. I really hoped he would make it in the NRL at the Dragons, but unfortunately, he has proven to be a solid NSW Cup player and not quite an NRL player which there are a lot of players like that, he is not the only one. Those 2 games against Souths and Parra where his moments to prove he is an NRL player and he failed unfortunately. Saints win those 2 and it would be a different story and he would have played more games. Even Braith was critical of him after those games.

If Lachlan goes to a 3rd team and fails it will show how Braith uses his show to promote his players. What will Braith have to say if Illias fails to play NRL with the 3rd team which I feel is quite likely, will he bag that side as well. Will he blacklist that NRL team from his clients. If Illias goes to England and fails it will be out of mind out of sight and Braith will just hide the fact Saints were right in not playing him. His attack on the Dragons use of his player was very unprofessional especially going on Insta to say Saints have no hope of getting Pezet after the way Illias was treated. He may in fact damage his credibility as a player manager limiting his players to a few select clubs. Very unprofessional.

With Pezet linked to the Raiders & Illias on the outer could be something in it especially if Illias leaves in a swap with Sami.
