I know all the shit the rugby league media feed you. I used to lap it up too. But it doesn’t reflect reality, it just tells stories.
Who mentioned the media? I merely watched Nathan Cleary steer a generational team and dynasty and win the 23 grand final with my own eyes

And then last week you would have seen him shit the bed as his team capitulated. Is he no longer ‘clutch’? Or is it in fact a team performance and the primary playmaker is just the most visible player in tight games?

I liked how much Arthur’s changed ours from 2013 to 2014. I’d say it’s easy to improve from a low base.

Wasnt there quite a few new faces in the roster when BA took over

Thanks to Ricky culling 10 blokes in 2013 and bringing in better players
eg Nathan Peats for Matt Keating, Manu Ma'u for Daniel Harrison, Corey Norman for Ben Roberts
David Gower for Reni Maitua
William Hopoate came back from his mormon mission

The point is rosters get turned over when they don't perform. We did it after 2013 (5 wins), we did it after 2018 (6 wins) and we did it after 2024 (7 wins). In another five/six years we will probably do it again. Rebuilding is a natural part of the salary cap cycle, whether you change the coach or not.

I think a full pre season was more important then these mickey mouse games personally.

Moses wont even play over there unless there is an injury and will now have a delayed pre season.

Regardless if he plays or not i see no benefit.

Yeah agree the players selected for the internationals will probably come back to off season training in the new year now. I think he rest come back November 1

More time around other elite players, cementing his standing as an elite player in game. I see nothing but positives.

Works out well keeps Moses happy as he can see his carear progressing being in Australia side … but probably won’t get a game as Cleary will more than likely play all three so shouldn’t come back injured
