What do you think will change? It would take a lot of work at the grass roots level and I just can’t see it happening.

The English game just has a really soft underbelly. Sure you get the odd freak come through, but the systems aren’t set up to produce them.

The talk of the NRL buying in is a good thing. They need help but in the end they'll need to build on it themselves.

You put our sport side by side with RU and 9/10 people will tell you ours is better. The product is fantastic and the money coming in proves it as well.

But its a different market in the UK. And RU has the bigger footprint there.

If its taken the last 25 years here in Australia to put a nail into RU then it would take a lot longer to bust the UK.

That is why there has been talk from a lot of fans over the years about rebranding the sport.

Though I can't think of another name I'd want to call it.

About the news though; It seems to me that Reg is not all that popular with coaches.

They said on NRL360 some time ago that Brad Arthur was the only coach that understood him.

I also think England is suffering like a lot of sports with the immigration .The kids coming in don’t play a lot of sports bar maybe soccer
