The img grading system has been brought in to force clubs to be stronger commercial entities. Aesthetics of stadiums are not in The criteria and are incredibly subjective.

Should giants get more points for a better looking stadium than hull kr’s even though the experience at craven park is a thousand times better?

odsal is a dump and SL has long gone past it but in img criteria alone it ticks the boxes.

Which shows how poor the IMG criteria is. The last round somehow had Cas as an A rated club despite many issues there as a club, Bradford have ticked the boxes needed to get themselves where they wanted to be. It’s not right and there’s holes in the IMG criteria but if you don’t tighten these things up, you’ll continue to get stuff like this.

As expected, then. Can’t say I’m not disappointed with Bradford’s inclusion and very little explanation there from the RFL as to how exactly they’ve jumped six spots in a year.

There’s a real issue in RL in the UK with fans believing all sorts of conspiracies and believing that the game and referee’s are some sort of group that decides outcomes of games and who wins games and trophies. The comments sections on social media after a game are usually more about referees and accusations of them being “bent” and this, where the head of the RFL and former chairman of Bradford Bulls has overseen Bradford’s jump up the table despite never winning the Championship and a club director a year ago shaking the begging bowl, is just going to heighten the accusations and conspiracy theories.

Anyway, curry night in Bradford is back on the cards. That’s something, I suppose.

How Bradford have got back into Super League without winning the championship grand final and having crumbling terraces and a under size pitch is a question a lot of people will ask.

They are just going to keep feeding Catalans & Toulouse shite until its impossible for them to run a business and implode, and then all the inbred northerners will say "told ya so".

Also watch how quickly Lockyer exits this consortium once London are in, purely from his PR and a bunch of empty promises. Oh sorry my mistake, they signed South Sydney's 4th choice hooker and RCG. My mistake give them a Grade A licence!

The whole thing is an absolute pisstake
