I rated him but he’s been ordinary in reserve grade this year. The fact he went to Canberra as a backup means we can’t have rated him that highly. Was he promised the 7 after Fogarty left? Not if they’re chasing Pezet.

He showed glimpses of potential, but for whatever reason, he just hasn't been able to crack regular First Grade.

He's behind some quality players at Canberra, but they had some moments this year where they were unavailable, and he still wasn't selected.

Interesting play by Anasta/Pezet to terminate the agreement with the storm and start from scratch again.

It guarantees an answer with 2 weeks as currently on Nov 1 he has no contract, and no income.

I still think the strongest likelihood is he inks a new deal with Storm. If he chooses to leave the club however I think we are in the box seat

I genuinely think Anasta in the background would have been pushing for this scenario to occur as its a win-win situation from his perspective.

However considering Melbourne lost the GF I think that might muddy the waters a little bit with Munster possibly wanting to try and have another crack at winning one with Melbourne.

I still maintain I think he's a genuine halfback not a 6 which is what we need so not fussed either way. Also journos have mentioned they are chasing somewhere near 700k which I think is crazy for someone who is still very much unproven.
