For me, Ace was one of those guys who, like Angus Young, may not have been technically the best guitarist, but he was just so cool. What a persona!
One of the main reasons I wanted to learn guitar.

There'll never be another like him.

Yep! I remember my older brother getting it and all I kept listening to were Ace's songs.
I still have two of the stickers that came with it. Paul and Peter.

As an aside, I'm reminded of just before I left Sydney for the UK when I was sharing a house with a Kiwi dude and his girlfriend.

He had moved over to Oz with his band to try to crack it over here.
They were from Mt Maunganui and apparently one of the Kiss team was from there as well. I don't remember his name, or what he did for Kiss, but he was pretty high up.

Anyway, this dude had seen an article in the local Mt Maunganui paper, while he was on holiday there, talking about how Nathan's band had moved to Oz to try to crack it.
He reached out and said if they needed any help, he'd be more than happy to do whatever he could.

He then sent over a leather-bound, personally autographed copy of Kisstory.
And at Christmas we received a Merry Kissmas card - again hand signed.
I was like a kid in a candy store!
Nathan, on the other hand, hated Kiss and wasn't interested at all hahaha.
