I recently read a post that he has accepted the ASSISTANT coach job at Newcastle and is urrently there on the ground.

The poster was completely incorrect and has said so. Young is still at Saints in the same role.

There was a pic of the young fellas training last week and Dean Young was pictured next to Flanno so he is still there.

His father was the issue not Dean. Wayne Bennett cannot speak highly enough of Dean so he must be ok but then again the same was said about Steve Price by Bennett. I would not be to upset about having him still around Saints. Mick Ennis is there now as well so there is some change this year from last in the coaching ranks which hopefully improve the squad. I will be keeping an eye out for Castleford to see how Ryan Carr goes as I hope he kills it in England. I like the short stint he had as coach of Saints.

Dean Young is our defense coach. Just look at the teamm's performance with regards to defense.
