What is harping is SF continually selecting KF and blowing up his tyres with a completely false narrative.

We are gong nowhere with KF in the run on side and it deserves all the criticism it gets.

We are also going nowhere without KF in the run on side.

It's like putting a spoiler on your Mitsubishi Lancer - makes no difference to the performance of the overall vehicle either way, it's just the appearance to the outside world. SF obviously loves the spoiler and we are all here arguing about whether the spoiler on a Lancer is a good thing or not, while other teams are worrying about engine upgrades on their F1.

I have not seen enough of Atkinson to know if he can steer a side around but if we do not buy a half I would consider Gutho at 5/8 as he is not quick enough at fullback. Lkt may need a little longer but I do not want Flano in the halves at all.

Do you realise that by sharing these confidential messages to a public forum you pose the risk of flano stoping it all together? I think it’s great he engages with the fans but sharing it to a public forum where media and everyone can see it publicly isn’t in good taste.

Perhaps because he knows fans want to hear from the coach of their club and he’s doing it in good taste to keep them engaged. No problem with you sharing the info but don’t share it’s come from the horses mouth…

I agree, but neither of us are the coach. Kyle is a 14 at best, and we should never have signed Cook; he is past his best.

Flanaghan, Anderson and Wotsford were all talking up hitting the recruitment market hard come Nov 1 for a half, middle and outside back..now we're told the market is tough and we'll see if anyone becomes available over Christmas/ New Year. The rhetoric is the same thing we have heard for season, after season, after season. Flanaghan even harking back to what a great job they did last season getting Cook, Holmes and Gutherson..and we know where that got us..battling for the wooden spoon. In fact our recruitment issues are exactly the same they were this time last year....half, middle forward etc

When you finish 15th and talk about your best recruits being Tu and Fale it's a major concern. Happy for the young forwards to get plenty of game time but not at the expense of formulating a formidable experienced front row.

Things have turned sour. I agree, he speaks well but theres no substance or rationale there. Its forlorn and flies in the face of what was PROMISED to fans.

Someone messaged me and said they heard we had met with Savala and he had signed! I got this checked with someone who has a direct line to Dean Young who then denied the rumour and went on to say we are not looking at him and that Flanagan will be 6 and Atkinson will be 7.

i think the extension of Reed, LKT and the acquisition of Atkinson is the clearest sign yet we have changed our position on going for a marquee half.

If true thats so crap
