I am pretty sure that Luke Burt is off contract at eels, he would certainly be a good buy, being able to cover 1-5, has very good kicking game as well, does get 40-20's. Thinking of next year, if we can get Noddy to ESL, play Dykes half, and trial Burt at 5/8, does play in line for parra...

Yesterday I said to old mate whilst watching the Sharks Ronnie-less, is just not the same.

I miss him, least Stoney has been improving week on week it has to be said.

He is the most athletic player in the team by quite a margin. He has footwork, acceleration, top end speed and anticipation. He is really the only one who can create chance from distance.

Stoney has good top end speed but needs to put into a hole. Katoa has footwork but no top end speed. Kennedy has ok footwork but not elite acceration.

Round 11 sounds really early. I hope he’s fully recovered by then if that’s the case.

It is early, but it really dependent on what else was injured. If it was a straight ACL, without meniscus, medial or bone bruising then he may have been able to ambulate immediately after surgery with no brace or crutches.
Movement is your friend.
My daughter tore hers last March, but also completely ripped her medial off the bone, plus shredded her meniscus and fractured her femur.
10-12 weeks in brace caused a lot of quad wastage.
We have just been cleared to straight line run.

If Ronny maintained most of his muscle then he could be really ahead of the recovery route. As long as passes the myriad of hopping and jumping tests plus the mental questionnaires then he will be good. Mentally is the big challenge
