The media circus about Nathan and Ivan being free agents for 2028 is warming up.
Be in our best interests to sort it sooner than later.
There's no way Ivan uproots the family and moves them to PNG, nor does he move up there without them.

The coaching job up there will be better suited to an up and coming coach without a family.

This is all just media hype.

Can you see any one of Bellamy, Cleary, or Bennett taking orders from Chammas

Massive rule change: Bench now extends to 6. You can only use 4 but 6 players sit on the pine.

RIP to forum discussion about the make up of our bench on team Tuesdays. I'll miss the memories. Now we could potentially carry two Brad Schneiders now and it won't make a difference.

You'll have to instead concentrate on Ivan's use of his bench on gameday. Much more worthwhile discussion anyway.

Ivan will still be clueless but this should help him

that other rule change of 6 again 20m is going back to how it was first brought in. then got changed to 40m.

from memory ya pennies used to happily give away a 6 again on the first tackle in opposition half just outside 20m line to reset ya defensive line and then use and trust in ya hyper fast line speed to mitigate the defensive set. rinse repeat. panthers best defensive years 21, 22 were built with this.

they executed it first in 2020 when 6 agains were brought in. we remember their attacking flair that year but their defence which worked so well with the give first tackle away to set line and back ya line speed was crazy good.

its interesting that the rule is being re-introduced back to its original setting after panthers and to lesser extent storm have lost majority of their playing groups or players have aged who utilised the 20m 6 again rule to their advantage.

Yeah it's a circus all right.

2 years out!!! The speculation of idiots like Brent Read will be vomit worthy telling all who will listen things like "the game will be better if the Cleary's do this" when he really means "Penrith won't win anymore if the Cleary's do this"

Not many journalists like seeing the success at Penrith because just remember, we're really only supposed to be in the comp to make up the numbers...

Purdue was a stand out in the 6 for the Cowboys in this trial tonight.

But its still a trial. Hard to know what to make of any of it. I'd be interested to hear the thoughts of a head coach behind the scenes. They'd set some plans and individual expectations for players but ultimately this game counts towards absolutely nothing. Doesn't further the cause of your NSW/QLD cup team or first grade.

Cows otherwise are just top 4 or bottom 4 for me. I have no idea where they will end up this year. Payten can't create any consistency with this club.

I thought Jake Clifford was the stand out for the Cowboys.

He wasn't too bad either.

One of them partners Dearden. Purdue did a lot of work at first receiver in the opposition half. I wonder whether Dearden plays 6 instead of 7 this year. Luai at the Tigers is making the switch as well.

I was looking at making the trip up to the Rd 3 game against the Roosters at Allianz Stadium, currently the only tickets available are on or behind the tryline, exception being $350 tickets in some VIP area. Does anyone know if such limited ticket choice is normal for Allianz stadium? I have never been to the stadium and would like decent seats but dont want to spend near $700 for 2 tickets.
