His so far up ths Broncos clacker it isnt funny.

Badel and that other dope Dobbo are both from sydney but now live in Brisbane to cover the broncos because they werent good enough down here to make it.

Gee, todays Telegraph wirh lead articles by Read avd Badel , backed up by a sob story from Riccio really underlines the influence some clubs avd the nrl have on the media. Not sure how to describe them, put it this way it’s a reflection of what PVL suggested and Storm commented.

I don't get why we are so interested in a 33 year old in Barnett. What I would be doing is scouring the best junior prop stocks throughout the NRL and trying to poach one of the top 3 potentials out of there.

Alternatively, I would be looking at someone like Terrell May who has stalled contract negotiations with the Tigers since Richo left and is one of the premier props in the game and turning 27 this year. He is potentially coming into his best years, not leaving them in his past.

Don't these journos realise Lomax would be at R360 now and not in the NRL if it got off the ground so nothing has changed with him not playing now.

We have plenty of talented young forwards. Signing older heads will help them develop, and shorter contracts leave cap space to retain them. Also, given the relative demand, Barnett could cost half as much as May or Koloamatangi.

You can only sign who’s available, and Barnett did play Origin last year. He also captained the Wahs a few times. He obviously offers something.

I agree Barnett is old and coming off a knee reco. Who knows how good he'll be now. Happy to pass there.
