Did the people suggesting Gabrael needs to start over Ramien even watch the trials? I’m not Ramien’s biggest fan and am hopeful of Gabrael, but there’s no way he’s better than Ramien yet.

Ramien, finally, looks like his first instinct upon receiving the ball is to run hard.
That's my pet peeve with him. He always looks hesitant to take off.

If he can keep it up, I'm happy to keep in the 17.
As others have mentioned, Gabrael has plenty to work on before he cracks it into the top side.

Well I went to bed at half time. The second Storm try (and I like watching Storm and how they play) was on the back of two six agains. It felt like there were 'six agains' every second set. It gave me the shits.

Then ............. they (the commentators) started trying to explain to us viewers and to themselves how this new far can bench is meant to or is going to work. It is going to be a long furhucked season to watch.

And as mentioned previously the bunker was off to a flying start. Butler must of been on the piss or something.

You know this used to be a simple game, a game that was easy to support and follow.

Gabriel plays on the left, same as Iro. Unless one of them is training to play on the right I.m not so sure we'll see Ramien replaced this year, besides injury.

I've been taking note of this for a while too.
Next in line after Gabriel would probably be Prestyn Laine-Sietu, who also plays left.

Not sure what the succession planning is, tbh.

Those poor Parra fans you paid the $280 upfront for kayo, for the season.
And now you would be wanting to cancel it

Watch Rugby League as "entertainment" not "sport" it makes more sense.

For example: Nathan Cleary is one of the main "Actors" - there is no value having him on the sideline, it costs money in tickets and ratings.

The new 6 again rule, makes the game more like touch footy.
The amount of dummy half runs will skyrocket, soon as market not square run at them, and they make contact 6 again
Guess we're lucky we've got a running number 9 then and not just a shovel. I don't like this touch footy style shit either but it may work in our favour. And Blayke is one of the best at drawing penalties (6 agains) out of a lazy marker

If tonight’s games are like the ones so far this round and it’s decided by the ref I might end up only watching sharks games this year.

Imagine have a penalty and noone knows what its for.
Noone ever goes back to confrm or deny its accuracy.
Its just 6 again.
6 again.
6 again.

In a game where field position and possession are everything a team can get caned.

This is unprecedented in any other sport.

The bench.
Ha.
What a wank.

People saying its a good thing and trying to explain it. 4 subs wasnt enough.
6.
Why not 12. Surely that would make the game better.
15 anyone?

Tell you what would make the game even better.

1 bloke on the bench.

Start with 13 and one sub.

Is it a back? A forward? A utility?

Blokes dropping like flies and noone left.

Blokes dead set buggered. Klemmer playing more than 20 minutes.

Let's see who the toughest side really is - rather than this mamby pamby bullshit where they show the sideline and there's more guys on the bench than in the crowd at some games.

I rather see a 8 man bench, you can use 6 subs.
And they are subs only, you come off the field no interchange.
You would have to make adjustments through re HIA
