Rd4: GAME DAY THREAD 530pm Parra v Panthers @ Commbank 28/3/26

I expect that we were expecting to compete and have a red hot crack on our home ground even if we were in the away sheds. Parra In The Tunnel!!! JR can only do so much with the 'talent' he has at his disposal, especially him being a rookie coach. But if he wants his dream team then the merkins in charge better start making that happen real soon. I'm almost 70....ffs!
Unfortunately he is part of the problem I believe, just too overhyped, in hindsight Madge would have been the much better choice

I agree on everything you have said here.

If you asked me at the start of the year were 2/4 you take it.

I said this week our draw gets easier after today

No team has had a tougher draw to start the year then us.

Storm, Broncos and Panthers away. Thats 3 of the prelim sides from last year.

How does anyone in the comp get stitched up like that. No wonder we werent worried about any blowback from the NRL about Lomax shit. Its not like we got any favours to start with.

Were not winning the comp and Penrith are on another planet.

But our defence though is a major worry and the injuries are piling up.

We need 1 or 2 morw big boppers to compete. Ryles wants mobility and agile pack but you still need big boppers to get you going.

Moses doesnt look happy. I dont know what we do there. He can bitch and moan but its not like his paid us back either.

Hasnt been on the park enough and when he has is not consistent enough.

Realistically we just need to look now at just beating the sides at our level and keep building from there.

Tigers and Titans at home next 2 weeks. You tick them off as wins when the draw comes out.

And with our F/A in the toilet we need 13 or 14 wins to make finals this year to cover for it.

Nothing wrong with a loss if compete.
But having your best side basicaly and getting blown completely off the park is a huge concern. Im not confident we beat the Tigers or Titans tbh after watching that

I’ve been saying for years we aren’t a serious football club.

if we were Midget Jimmy and that useless Trolley collector would be homeless and nowhere near a RL club. Our recruitment and retention is absolutely embarrassing.

Ryles could be Jack Gibson reincarnated and it wouldn’t matter because the club is full of deadset plodders.
Maybe we could put on a fire sale for the Bears. They were more shit than we ever were.

Moses is a flat track bully.
Mostly but he has delivered in origin which is not that type of game and 1 game where he has performed better than cleary. Apart from that Cleary is heads and shoulders above Moses and every other 7 in the game.
Your big 5 Cleary Yeo Leota Kenny and Edwards are the glue

Can’t believe some people think Parra did well in the second half. WTF did you think would happen at 30-4 HT? Penrith don’t 50 teams, the last time was 2023. They just grind teams to a pulp. Rest Yeo and give others a crack.

This is what happens to Pre Season winners.

Moses can only perform with the best players around him, Cleary can do it when it matters. As far as I m concerned , he is paid by Penrith to deliver and he has done that in spades. What has Moses done at Parra?
