I think that could be Penrith’s biggest ever home crowd. Certainly bigger than any crowd at Penrith stadium.

2nd biggest individual game just behind Roosters ‘04 at Homebush. The others were either magic round matches or double headers.

So after six games we are at 150,526 for the round.

A combined aggregate of 20K today would see us finish with a 21.3K average. A aggregate of 25,474 will get us to a 22K average.

Raiders look to be tracking for 13-15K, not sure about Titans.

Perfect weather on a Sunday afternoon in Canberra vs the team that knocked them out of the finals last year. Is there some reason why 15k wouldn't qualify as a bit pathetic?

That would be the biggest H&A crowd down here between the sides I think ?, the Sharts don't do it for Raiders fans for some reason.. But I think we will get to 17K as I predicted ... its an important game for both clubs

I doubt the recent media coverage of an ageing GIO Stadium, the Sharks being a lower drawing opponent, and Canberra's slow start to the year are the ingredients needed for a 20k+ crowd.

Largest ever between the two in Canberra was 15,820 in 2024 (Raiders lost 40 - 0 at home) and 15,807 in 2017 (Raiders lost 42 - 16), but yeah the average crowd for Sharks in Canberra would be around 11-12K.

Not impossible for today to set a new record if the members turn up in decent numbers. Not sure if the club is also doing something in Bays 18, 19 & 20. There is next to no tickets left in them, so not sure if they've just been held back or if they may be doing something in the local community.
