What happened to draw and pass in the backs instead of just passing and second phase ball with the forwards?

He has to go youth or he's writing his own termination papers. I'd rather watch a young side that shows potential and gains experience while losing than the absolute utter woeful shite that was served up yesterday. Yesterday was like travelling back to Griffin's 2023 team - which is the worst Dragon's side I've seen. Yesterday's rabble came pretty damn close to that. Geez that was hard to watch. Very few times I've felt numb watching a game but that was one of them. They had no f#$king idea yesterday.
At least Kyle is now a forced change, although terrible circumstances to happen via.
Just throw the most creative team of players out there and hope. It's sad to say that's a better game plan than what they've been going with.

I’d like to see Nick T in there somewhere at some stage. I’ve lost patience with Cook.

I'd honestly say that we must now go with the following halves combo:

6. Atko (his natural position)
7. Reed (something tells me we can keep dreaming about this because he is neither in the Top 30 or Supplementary List as of yet)

Agreed - it's time for Liddle to start at 9

The following must feature in the pack / extended bench, and be given preference for game time:

Halangahu
LPT
Nick T (can cover edge or centre)

(side note - I thought we really missed the Couchmen yesterday and it will be good to have Toby back onboard this week)

Backline options:

Tu to come back in over Sloan
Suli to come back in over Buchanan
Matt F, Lawson, Fale given preference over Tui? Although I'm not sure if any of the others will be better or worse?

We are very much caught between a rock and a hard place. Continue to be stubborn with the experienced players or let the youth off the leash in favour of thinking about the future?

We can't keep deluding ourselves though. We don't have the cattle to get ourselves easily out of the mess we find ourselves in today. From a scoreboard + wins/losses perspective, we are unlikely to see too much improvement tomorrow, this coming week, or over the next month as we run through what will be some very tough games...

But trying to look at the glass half full - maybe if we make some positive changes now we might be able to start seeing some more positive results come the second half of the season?

We don't have the players, being on the bottom it doesn't help recruiting top players.
Can't see him puting in Reed. It will be LKT.
I don't mind Liddle starting but watch him be average playing more minutes with less impact.

In the Parra game, even Liddle looked frustrated at dummy half, hands up like who want's the ball, what are we doing, who am i giving it to. Halvs lacking. Due to Kyle's injury we will see a different halvs paring, can't see it making a difference.

That's probably the kind of real wholesale changes we need (with respect to the players we have available and ready).
