Round 5 versus Storm

Agree. I expect Bellamy to be in the press arguing that we are breaking the rules to try pressuring the refs.

It's more likely Bellamy will be whipping his players into shape. I mean literally not figuratively. For every point scored on them they get lashes.

Sounds about right. Kamikamica has already been hospitalised this morning with a suspected stroke. Not even satire.

Oh me oh my. That is the most dreadful of news. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

That puts footy into perspective doesn't it.......

I cannot ever recall us being $1.46 vs the Storm before. They've got some injury worries though and their pack was demolished by the Cowboys in the latter stages at the weekend.

Personally i think we should be too strong for the storm, but my concerns are they very rarely go 3 losses in a row.And everytime we have gone on a long undefeated run the storm are usually the ones who stop us.But no Coates no kamikamica and lasati the storm have fragile centres also.We could run riot if we get off to a flyer like we did against parra.

Ok. It's not rocket science to know that our Panthers enter every game with a plan in mind to target a certain player, or to attack a certain area, to create errors in the opposition defence.

I think our good early season swarming defence has the Storm danger men covered.

I think we might target both centres and back rowers to open up the middle as they creep out to try and cover our pressure. Their wingers might even get caught rushing in to cover our pressure which means Milky might have another field day.

What's everyone's thinking?

I don't think they have the middles for us. Spine/backs can't win without momentum. Bit cliche but forwards win games backs decide by how much.

Target Grant defensively. Hes both a weak defender outright and it means he has less energy when he gets a chance with the ball. Helps both sides of our game.

Sounds solid to me.

Play 4 forwards off the bench again just like last week. Even better if Henry is back.

Should be a good game. Storm desperate. Our first game against them after Grant's sneaky try last year. And Grant's diving resulting in Moses getting controversially penalised for blocking. Over turning our possible match winning Field Goal.
Opening 20 should be spicy! Would love a big win over them.

Bellamy's refusal to take him off the pitch helped win the 2024 GF.

If he has the first fifteen minutes of second half riding the pine the Storm maybe snag another try.

Instead he was completely gassed.
