2 out of 3 at "capacity" for the Broncos shows what a tight margin they have to beat the 43,200 record from 1993.
Top crowds that year at QE2 were 58,593 57,212 54,751 & 51,517.

Doubt they’ll ever beat that one until they get a stadium upgrade or find a way to turn those 44-46k sellouts in to 48-50k.

So the Broncos get 43,500 average from a population of 2.5m.

That's 1.74% of the population.

There are 9 Sydney teams out of a population of 5.6m. That's 622k per team.

1.74% of 622k equals 10,800 people at the ground.

Seems like even the saints, who have been in a coma for 15 years, get more fans into the ground, per capita, than the Broncos.

I thought they were the best fans in the game.

I was hoping to see a pax number when I got my ticket tonight, but it doesn't seem like Ticketmaster uses a pax system?

Based on that, we won't be able to get a good gauge of an accurate crowd estimate without some press and/or TfNSW event planning updates.

That said, tickets appear to be selling well in advance of 2023 (final crowd 35,211) and 2024 (final crowd 35,275):
- In 2023, Level 4 East tickets went on sale two days in advance of the game (on the Wednesday prior to Good Friday)
- In 2024, Level 4 East tickets also went on sale two days in advance of the game (on the Wednesday prior to Good Friday)
- In 2026, Level 4 East tickets went on sale seven days in advance of the game (on the Friday prior to Good Friday), and three bays are basically already sold out.

Assuming the weather plays ball, I think we will see a 40k+ crowd. That would be South Sydney's first since Good Friday in 2014 (43,255 vs Canterbury).

We have our first news article with an anticipated crowd figure for Good Friday:

The Bulldogs are preparing to spring an Easter surprise on the Rabbitohs as they look to shake up their attack ahead of this week's Good Friday blockbuster.

A crowd exceeding 50,000 is expected for the annual clash between the two traditional powerhouses at Accor Stadium and Canterbury are desperate to rebound from last week's loss to Newcastle.

Wow. The per capita gambit. First time for 2026 I think. Let's all do the old "but this but that" runaround.
I'm kidding, let's not. Enjoy this lovely shot of reality instead.Broncos v season 1.pngBroncos v season 2.png

Souths don't seem as pro active as the Bulldogs last year to fill as many seats as possible , where are the deals?

Opposition GA is now sold out at Accor for Good Friday. Additional Level 4 seats have been released for the game. Match is definitely going to be comfortably over 30K. Hopefully momentum continues to accelerate over the next few days.

Southern GA has sold out at CommBank for the Easter Monday clash.

I'm guessing probably about 45k on Good Friday of which 30k will be Bulldogs supporters.

Southern and Northern GA now sold out at CommBank. Easter Monday very comfortably on track for a sellout.

Encouraging signs for the Optus Stadium double header with the NRL starting to put on sale multiple bays on the northern side of the ground (non-camera side).

Frustratingly, the Ticketmaster dynamic pricing has kicked in for bays, with some sideline seats now priced at $249

You make a point however Redcliffe also share the same market of 2.5 million.
