It’s a real shame in regards to matterson’s circumstances, doubt he’ll play again, and certainly not in Parra colours, unfortunately he absolutely lost me when he dogged his mates and fans sitting on the sidelines for however long, for 3 pissy k….I believe that will b he’s legacy no matter what stance he was trying to make, it was appalling…..to make things so much worse our disgusting management and coach let him, showing the have piss flaps instead of ball.

I went to same school as terry mattetson growing up in same surroundings, Auburn , Lidcombe a good family, on a side note I knocked around with mattos mum at the time she was a very funny girl and had a few laughs, take me back….😔

That's fair.

I'm not posting this tidbit to take away from the fact that he deserted his teammates, and fans; I was posting it to show that the person is suffering after he was the recipient of a thuggish act of play.

I get the feeling its the similar scoreline to last years Easter game. The defence is still a worry and I expect the Tigers to target Joash with the high ball and kicks in the in goal, and also the big forwards against Pezet and Tuilagi. Unless they really work on their tackling and mark up defence, I expect a 36 32 scoreline

No way we score 32, I don't think.

Tigers have improved drastically.

I agree, I believe he could still take action

Honestly, I hope he does.

While he's still getting paid, I can't imagine what it would be like to have consistent migraines, blurred vision, brain fog...

And all because a coward tried to be "tough"...

The NRL should have suspended Kaufusi for far longer - he got off lightly.

I hope I’m wrong but just can’t warm to Ryles as a coach, I think he got ahead of himself getting rid of lots of experience and replacing with reserve graders, how is this conducive to any form of professionalism? and this is what separates us from the cream by a very long way….I don’t think Ryles is the one, but no issues copping it if I’m wrong

Moses vs Doueihi.
That's only one of each team's halves pairings. You forgot about Pezet vs ... - that's where things even up somewhat.

And if you want to compare spine v spine, Tigers have us well and truly covered. Bula vs Papalii, and then Api will have a field day against our back-peddling, limited lateral-agile middle defence.

I agree. He was quick to gut the place. The flipside is that he only has a few years to deliver improvements and would rather not do it with players he doesn't trust or rate.

What experience should he have kept? RCG struggled last year, Lane lost interest, Sivo was to slow, Cartwright quit, Gutho is struggling in attack with his lack of pace. Lussick wasn't playing NRL.

So who wouId you have kept?

Drown is the only genuine loss, I reckon.

Ryles did the right thing getting rid of all those players however I'm confident that he thought his recruitment team would be more effective. They have let him down. We have missed out on every big name signing so far. Galvin, Keaon and Barnett despite offering them big money.

I understand that, but u burn the place to the ground, and replace it with a tin shed isn’t the way to go

The way Galvin is playing right now he would slot straight in to our line up.

Which is concerning. They turned their back on the opportunity to come here and be coached under Ryles. Lomax took a look and didn't like what he saw either.

When BA made dud signings or didn't land a player everyone pointed the blame towards him. When the same thing happens under Ryles its the 'recruitment team'. Lets at least treat things consistently.
