I was hoping for April fools
Does the signing of the Charlie the hitman Guymer excited you?

Thank f**kI reckon the re-signing of Guymer indicates that we will not take the second year option for JDB.
What an embarrassment we have become.I reckon the re-signing of Guymer indicates that we will not take the second year option for JDB.
McLean is wildly special. $1mil for 4 years would be a steal for how good that kid will be.
Don’t know about you but I am personally loving all this cap space we have.Blaize looks a bargain for 500k now. WE DONT PAY OVERS
PossiblyRemember who the GM and his past history, this Phil Gould where talking about, and Ciraldo his puppet
Still very average, looks like the weak link in the teamBlaize looks a bargain for 500k now. WE DONT PAY OVERS
Look at Penrith's middles. They don't run over the top of anyone their own size. They are effective because they are toilers. The outside backs make the hit ups.I dont know what to think of him. Runs over top of small blokes but nothing else to his game. Against the stronger packs he didnt make a dent.
I also dont get the Ryda hype. Looks fat and slow to me.
Katarac,Koina,Petrus all look better then those two. Im hardly an expert but and have faith in our coaching staff

Never kicked on?!? He is 20 this year and playing well in reserve grade. Liam Martin was two years away from first grade at the same age.Ryda reminds me of Jeziah Funa-Iuta talked up as a junior but never kicked on..
f**k when is our pathways system going to produce a freak outside back that plays at 18
It seems like we produce well in the forwards but our junior backs are always average
Yep. Some merkins you want on your team and others you don't.I’d say it has more to do with the lack of team before player attitude, rather than merkinism
Guymer's a lot more mobile than Alvaro ever was. Guymer is a converted centre. Alvaro was only ever a prop.Didn’t we get rid of Alvaro, though continue signing Guymer….ummmmm
All this cap space is what the smart clubs do.Don’t know about you but I am personally loving all this cap space we have.
So an NFL team will release a starter quality QB to a rival just because their rival's QB got injured? Why would they do that? What's in it for them? Who's going to play QB for them after they let their starter leave? These aren't hypothetical questions; I don't follow the NFL.Why do NFL teams have 3 QB's on their roster, but place their starter on IR if they're out for the season?
Because a back-up is not the same.
This is easier to implement in the NFL with trades, etc., of course.
And I'm not suggesting that any of the injuries we suffered in 2026 are the catalyst for this.
But I'd hate to see, for example, Newcastle lose Ponga and/or Brown for the season in Round 1 (hypothetically), and then basically kiss their season goodbye.
As I said - I am not an expert; an Injured Reserve wouldn't necessarily work, because having your star player's salary still count on the cap, but their roster spot not count, is probably not as useful in the NRL
But allowing for machinations when a player is out for the season would allow for a more even competition.
If a team is ruled out of being a genuine Premiership nuisance early in the year because they've lost that star player, that kind of sucks.
Whats that got to do with Ryda being overweight and slow?Look at Penrith's middles. They don't run over the top of anyone their own size. They are effective because they are toilers. The outside backs make the hit ups.
Maybe he's the one waiting because it's a seller's market.Sam Tuivaiti should be a 4yr extension tomorrow...honestly what are we waiting for
