So an NFL team will release a starter quality QB to a rival just because their rival's QB got injured? Why would they do that? What's in it for them? Who's going to play QB for them after they let their starter leave? These aren't hypothetical questions; I don't follow the NFL.
No - I think u misunderstood. Basically say a player gets a serious injury u can put them on injured reserve which then allows u to sign another player. Still counts against the cap I think but it essentially alllows u to free up a roster spot.

Let be honest. There back ups in cup are both better. Tago and J.Mclean. Shows where we are at as a club.

What we have a Tago and Sam Loizou dont forget Alomaddine 😉

Mate they have juniors also I their cup side Edgar Liddard... both bound to play in the NRL.

The only player that looks like they will make it is tuivati.
Him and TDS are the only ones who look like they will play Origin. Juniors don’t need to be that good to add value to the squad.
If you aren’t playing first grade before you turn 20 you are basically cooked. Won’t be a “good” player.
This is only (generally) true for outside backs. Forwards and halves only need to be playing reserve grade by 20 to show promise.
We overrate our juniors. If they were good they would be in first grade. It’s not like our team is stacked with stars so these young guns can’t get a run. The fact is they just aren’t that good.
They aren’t future stars but most teams are struggling to keep 17 first graders on the books these days, so anyone who might become a genuine NRL player is useful. Unless the merkin wants overs to stay. And if they do, what’s the point of bringing them through?

I’m not super confident anyone will progress. I’m hoping they do though.

im not even talking stars, im talking Sean Russell level players. Just those that can play and not be totally crap.
Anyway time will tell.

An aggressive recruitment team would now be looking at Galvin’s manager ( Isaac Moses) and suggesting it would be good for the player to move to another club to actually play his best position, 5/8. Not tempting fate, doubt that’s in the thought process of our gurus.
oh my god YES!!!!!!!

Please make this happen
