Credit to the boys, hung in till the end. We had a couple of refereeing decisions I didn’t like, the sin bin was off the mark and cost us, in the end it was good to see the ref call the offside, pretty gutsy call

There was plenty to like as well.

Hunt had an impact. Our forwards are getting on top in basically every game. We aren't gelling in attack but Bula is starting to look good. Api was great. Madden was great.

AD makes poor decisions way too often in the halves but he is a running threat. I don't know what Benji does with Madden because Madden gives us that calm controlling consistent 7 and it's hard to drop him.

It was a tough game, were we pretty good, just got to convert a few more of the chances we’re making (same old story) but the boys are coming from behind and staying in the games, something we’ve had trouble doing the past few years.

I thought the slow start is a concern.

The comebacks are great, but not sure if they can rely on that every week.

I thought our defence has improved remarkably.

I didn't think that was a sin bin, but we could have handled it a bit better.

But playing tough is a great sign for the rest of the season & worth remembering we still are without 3 first pick players to come back.

A lot of us have said it, our depth is very good and it's showing.
