The best part of that game was how we came back from adversity. Twice.

The sin bin turned the game and we were running riot at that point, without scoring any points. We didn't handle that 10 mins at all well but when we got back to 13 on 13 we came back.

We need to work out our starts. Giving up the 1st 10 points every game will kill us in the long term. We need to convert more of our opportunities in the red zone. But that's not news to anyone.

We're way fitter this year which I think is a big factor in our come from behind wins.

I'd love to see Moses play under a ref like Hartley or Harrigan and carry on like he does. He'd be spending so much time in the bin it wouldn't even be worth getting changed and coming out in the first place. He is a world class tool and bitch and has the 2nd most punchable head on the planet.

Only 26 missed tackles again this week, 26 too many but it is a favourable stat when compared to other sides. Really impressive what they’re doing with their defence if that left side can get it right defending on the line , we’ll make the eight. I just think we probably need to get up into the attacking line a bit more, go forward as a unit. I think sometimes our inside defenders slide first and then move forward, I think they need to move forward a bit quicker, when they’re sliding they tend to watch the ball go across the line instead of engaging attackers, I’m no defensive expert but it seems a problem to me, it allows the fullbacks and backrowers that extra bit of time to number up and choose and angle

If we win 2 of the next 3 I will start giving the possibility of the 8 some thought

We’ve got a tough draw. The next six or seven weeks all tough games. Going to be interesting : Newcastle, Broncos, Raiders, Sharks, Storm, Manly then the origin bye. Realistically I still think there are no games that we can take for granted, just be happy if we stay consistent with our effort, and keep the defence to at least the current standard

We should win 4 of those. Newcastle, with Brown, Ponga and Best all out. Then Raiders, Sharks and Manly. Broncos could be a chance with Walsh and Hunt out.

He is a good player but not a halfback. Luai and Madden should be the halves with AD off the bench.
Exactly, been saying it from day dot. He may be wearing 7 on his back but he's playing a combination of a couple of roles, ½, ⅝, link and sometimes one or two in from the wing. He could be a ball playing lock off the bench similar to Yeo.
It is a decision that will make or break Benji, team selections that is.
I don't think there's too much wrong his coaching especially being inexperienced but it will be his selection of the right players at the right time and the use of his bench throughout the season that I'll judge him on.
Emotion aside, loyalty aside, the team should be the one that trains hard and gels during training and in the game.
Players like To'a might have to wait a few more weeks. Reserve grade won today but noone really stood out as an NRL certainty.
Afoa wasn't all that spectacular and Hunt is getting better in the NRL.
Latu Fainu looks like our future permanent 14 for me. He can rest Api and can play either dummy half, ½ or ⅝.
Andrews played well today and looks the goods for the future.

The problem with our game is that it has become soft, due to the interpretation of rules which is frustrating as it is becoming as soft as soccer.FFS it is a contact sport. Moses is an embarrassment if you think he isn't than have a look at woman's netball on tv, those girls are a lot tougher than he will ever be.

That’s definitely our best 3/4 line.Id be sticking with Tavana on the wing due to his aerial prowess.Id also like Maka on the other wing due to his height & have Turuva & May as the centres.
That's what I meant but I've likely stuffed up the spelling of their names. Fair dinkum, how can you have 2 blokes with such similar sounding last names and nicknames? One of them should be forced to change their name to Bob Smith.
